saturday - 10:38 a.m.

aide has just finished doing her chores when she notices that nick hasn't texted or called. she runs up to her room and goes to write another letter. her heart stops when she opens her box and sees that all her letters are gone and that someone else has left one.

she opens the letter and reads about what nick has done and what nick has to say. she takes deep breaths after taking it all in doing her best to hold in her tears.

i think i'll always love you, the words repeat in her mind. all she can hear are those words coming out of his mouth.

she grabs her mom's keys and quickly drives to nick's house. she rings the bell to be greeted by his house keeper. she asks if nick is around and the house keeper gestures for her to go upstairs.

at this point aide is surprised at how long she's been holding in the tears. she can't any longer.

she opens up nick's door to see him sitting on the edge of his bed.

"i love you more." she says and the tears start to stream down her face.

there's a silence.

"but not more than you love him." nick says, taking her in his arms and letting her muzzle her face into his chest.

"aidey, stop crying. it's okay. everything will be okay." he says lifting her chin up and wiping away her tears with his thumbs.

"i-i'm so sorry, nicky." she says in between her deep breaths.

"i'm sorry too aidey, i'm sorry too." he rubs her back and kisses her for the last time.

"i guess i should go now." she whispers.

"yeah." he whispers back.

she opens up his bedroom door and just before stepping out waves at him and gives him the best smile she's got.

all she can think is how much she'll miss nick and how sorry she is that she hurt him. but she knows inside that he's right when he said that she'd be happier with him.

when aide arrives home there is a letter waiting for her. she reads it all and cant stop herself from crying again when she reads the very last words.
