chapter 38

you started freaking out when you saw that.
you got out of bed and paced around the room.
*ding*
y/n: holy shit.
you hesitate to grab your phone, but you did.
~text messages~
a: y/n what i did was messed up. and i regret it, believe me i do. i'd do anything in my power to take it back. i'm so in love w you i can't even think of my life without you. can you come home tomorrow? please?
y/n: coming home? depends. but we can talk.
a: thank you. get some sleep.
y/n: goodnight alex.
you put your phone down and sigh in relief.
y/n pov: now just go to sleep y/n. tomorrow is gonna be a good day.
you finally fall asleep.
later, you wake up, but you're not in jacks house. you're in alex's bed. you sit up and run your eyes.
y/n: alex?
no answer.
you get up and walk to the bedroom door and open it. when you do you see what used to be your bedroom's light on through a crack at the bottom of the door. you start to walk closer and you hear a girl laughing and whispering.
y/n: what the fuck?
you get to the door and put your ear to it
you hear a voice that sounds like alex so you open the door.
y/n: alex?
you see him on top of a girl kissing her neck, but you couldn't see her face. he looks up at you and you see the girl.
it's hailey.
you start tearing up.
y/n: alex, are you serious?
a: she's better than you y/n.
he looks back at hailey and kisses her again.
you walk out and shut the door. you have your back against the door and you slowly slide down and cry harder every second.
j: Y/N??
you wake up in the spare room of jacks house crying in your sleep.
j: y/n are you okay?!
y/n: what happened
j: i don't know, you were screaming and crying in your sleep.
y/n: oh i'm sorry. it was just a dream.
j: okay. do you wanna come sleep in my room?
y/n: yes please.
jack smiles
j: okay :)
you both walk to his room and you lay on the bed & he lays next to you.
without thinking much, you scoot closer to him and put your head on his chest and wrap your arms around him.
j: oh?
you giggle but don't say anything and fall asleep.
