Sarah's POV:
Ever since mom and dad died in the car accident it has been like a ghost town around here. Olivia hasn't come out of her room in weeks, she is usually shy, but his is a whole new level. Zariah, being the oldest, she has to take care of us now. She seems so overwhelmed with everything, she sorta shut us out. As for me, I'm doing pretty well considering the array of events that has happened. I'm doing Zariah's job for her though, I cook and clean, if I didn't no one would eat around here.
We live in a big house in Florida, right on the coast. Unfortunately we have to give it up, with out our mom and dad we can't pay for the house anymore. We are moving to California, into a smaller house, it's not too bad. We are starting fresh, and trying to forget, starting over.
"Girls! Are you ready to go? We have to leave now! we are going to miss our flight!" Zariah screams up from the stairs below "Yes! One sec ok?!" I reply while sitting on my floor. It's difficult for me to leave, since Zariah thinks it is a good idea to start "fresh" she sold our house furnished. So we are limited to a small suitcase of things. But I can't choose what to put in it!, "THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!" I scream as Zariah comes bursting through my door, "well you will have to just live with what you have packed already because WE HAVE TO GO!" Zariah says grabbing my arm and bringing me to my feet, "grab your suitcase and let's go!". I quickly grab the photo of me and my parents and shove it in my suitcase, I drag it out the door and throw it on top of my other suitcases and slam the trunk of the cab closed.
I guess this is it. We are starting over, I can't help but shed a tear as we drive away. All I can think about is my parents. I miss them so much. My eyes start to get blurry with tears, so I just shut them for the rest of the ride to the airport.
