Dinner Reservations Pt.1

Ace drove us back to the dorms and it was time to get ready for the reservation he set up.

Walking through the social room into my room, I noticed how quiet the place was.

Too quiet...
Where was Lauren?  I thought. And then I remembered. She and Lewis were having "special time" together. Eugh 

I scrunched my nose in disgust and tried to get myself to clear the mental image.
Turning on the fan in my sweltering room, I heard my phone ding

Ace ✰ : Hey Freckles ;)
I smiled, picking up my phone and sitting on the edge of the bed.

Me: Ace you literally just dropped me off. You can't leave me alone for 30 minutes?😂

Ace ✰ : Oh c'mon doll you know the answer to that

Doll..my chest fluttered, that was a new one
My phone rang again

Ace ✰ : Are you excited for later?  

Me: No, I replied. It was a lie. I was really excited actually. I loved to eat, so eating with ace was a whole new ballgame and I couldn't wait to see what he'd planned

Ace: WHY AREN'T YOU EXCITED?

Me: BECAUSE YOU WON'T TELL ME WHERE WE'RE GOING

Ace: IT'S CALLED A SURPRISE FOR A REASON! IF I TOLD YOU WHERE WE WERE GOING IT WOULDN'T BE A SURPRISE NOW WOULD IT?

Me: Well... I guess not. But how will I know what to wear??

Ace ✰ : Just wear whatever, you look hot in everything 

Me: I can't just wear "whatever" Ace, I'm a girl. Only guys just pull on "whatever" and go about their day.

Ace ✰ : You'll be fine, and don't take too long getting ready either. Our reservation is for 11 so be ready by then or I'm dropping you back off at the launchpad with that half-assed "Sargent" we had flying the plane.  Wasn't he just charming.

Me: Aye aye captain, I'll be ready. Don't worry. 

Ace ✰ :  Good, see you later Freckles. 

Me: Later Ace ♡ 

I rested my phone down and smiled. 

Although I'm not one to fall for guys easily, I hate to admit it but Ace has sneakily made his way into my mind and hasn't left since. Not only made his way in, but set up a couch, rug, bed, tv, with heating and is constantly living in my mind rent-free. 

I looked at the clock as it read 9:30. Okay, time to get ready for real. 

After a quick shower, I used a new lotion Lauren got me from Victoria's secret called Pure Seduction. As embarrassing as it was, it smelled really good and I kind of hoped Ace would be close enough to me to think so too. It's not like he was my boyfriend or anything yet, but..it never hurt to smell good right? 

 I wrapped my towel back around myself and began digging through my dresser. What could I wear for a night out? I don't think I really had anything nice that screams "Dinner Reservation"

Item after item I slowly began to notice a pattern..

hoodie..sweatpants..graphic tee...hoodie...joggers...jeans...hoodie..sweatpants..
