Honesty

Vegeta was out in a barren land just yelling out in frustration and anger of how these metal pieces of shit were suppose to be no match for him. But then he realized there should be something beyond super saiyan. Something would make him strong and he was determind to reach it.

Once you and Trunks felt a huge energy spike (thanks to Vegeta blowing stuff up) you found him. You and Trunks were currently on your way to him. Trunks wanted to confront his father about the way he treated you and how important he was to you. So he wouldn't do anything stupid and get himself killed.

On the other hand. You were just fuming. Wanting to slap Vegeta for running off for the fifth time it seemed like. Maybe it was more you lost count. You were also mad because he was just blocking you out of the bond. It was giving you a huge headache and you just wanted to slap him. Which you planned to. Actually maybe punch. Who knew.

"Mom he'll be fine." Trunks tells you. Obviously thinking you were worried by how quickly you two changed directions as soon as you felt him.

"I don't care about that. I know he will be." You snap a bit harshly. He remains silent waiting for you to keep speaking. "I just want to have a couple words with him." Smack him for running away and blocking our bond. You though to yourself.

"Oh.." He says a bit low.

It was silent after that. It wasn't uncomfortable but you were wondering something. Vegeta dies in his version along with Goku and a couple other people. What happened to you. You had no idea. It probably wasn't good to ask but you needed answers.

"Trunks. I have a question."

"Shoot."

"When your father died....what happened to us?" You ask.

He did not expect that. He was thrown off guard a bit. But he looks at the scenery you both pass on your way to Vegeta. "You moved out of Bulma's. You couldn't be in capsule Corp. Bulma said it had to many memories for you too handle. Then when I got old enough to train you taught me some things but Gohan taught me a lot. Becoming my teacher for a bit. You rarely trained or fought. If you did it was just to train with gohan. You..." He didn't want to say the wrong word so he was going to be careful. "Felt alone.. You thought I looked a lot like my father. You would never say it but when you though I wasn't looking, you would just study my features..." looking at you for a moment to see you looking down just listening. "But you wanted to make sure this never happened again." You now looked at him. "You went to Bulma's a lot to help figure out the blue prints for the time machine, try to tell me as much about the androids you could remember. It helped me train a lot. Because after you two decided to do that you got back into fighting. Decided enough was enough and you were going to show me why we must have pride being a saiyan." He smiled slightly at that. Thinking how much you talked about Vegeta and his pride and how he was a prince and made sure everyone knew. Even though his pride could be his downfall time to time (as Bulma would tell him) it helped him train as hard as he could, be the best he could be.

"What happened after that?" It broke your heart a bit knowing that he went through this but deep down you knew if Vegeta did die...you would feel broken. Your parents sent you away to be safe from Frieza. So you were alone for years. Until the pod finally unlocked and you found a letter your parents left. Helping you find your brother Goku. Then not too long after you two became inseparable until you met Vegeta and that killer saiyan turned into your mate and a saiyan you love so deeply you knew you'd sacrifice yourself for. If anything were to happened to him you would feel so alone again. You would never be the same.

"Well let's say training was never easy." He chuckles a bit and you laugh a bit. "Up before dawn, training until the sun was way past set. Only to have 3 breaks a day. Just to make sure I had my 3 meals. They were long tiring days but if you wouldn't of trained me....." Not wanting to think the worse. "Gohan tried to tell you to take it easy. Lets say you just had to show him something and he stopped talking."
