Agent Hill led Steve, Sam and Jessie to the security room of S.H.I.E.L.D. They used a device that would mess up the sound on earpieces. They used it on the men in the security room. One opened the door the four were behind and put his hands up when he saw that Maria, Sam, and Jessie had their guns trained on him. He moved out of the way when Steve walked forward.
"Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents," Jessie spoke into the microphone after they took control of them in the security room. "This is Sergeant Jessica Evans. You've heard a lot about Steve Rogers and I over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt us down. But I think it's time you know the truth. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It's been taken over by Hydra. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The Strike and Insight crew are Hydra as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing next to you. They almost have what they want; absolute control. They shot Nick Fury. And it won't end there. If you launch those Helicarriers today, they'll be able to shoot anyone who gets in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot. The price of freedom is high. It always has been. But it's the price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not." Sam walked over to her when she finished talking.
"Did you write that down first? Or was it off the top of your head?" he asked. Jessie chuckled. Steve put his hand on her shoulder.
"That is the most I've heard you say since New York," Hill said. Jessie smirked.
"Come on, soldiers," she said as she began walking out of the room, Steve and Sam following. They began to walk off toward the Helicarrier bay. They ran outside and noticed they began the launch.
"Hey, Serge?" Sam asked as the three ran toward the Helicarriers. "How do we know the good guys from the bad guys?"
"If they're shooting at you they're bad," she replied. Sam activated the jetpack, turning it on. The wings from it spread out like a bird. On their way down they had decided that Steve would take the first Helicarrier, Sam would take the second one, and Jessie would take the last one. Jessie and Steve jumped off of the plane platform they were on, to the runway below. Soldiers began to shoot at the two. Steve blocked the bullets with his shield as Jessie sniped them. They hid behind supplies. A soldier came up next to them and Jessie punched him, knocking him out. She took a grenade, pulling the pin out, and throwing it at the three soldiers running toward them. Sam began flying up toward the second Helicarrier, trying to land on the top of it, only to end up being shot at.
"Hey, Serge," he began saying through the earpiece. "I found those bad guys you were talking about."
"You okay?" Steve asked.
"Not dead yet." Sam got to the second Helicarrier. "Alright, Cap, I'm in." A Quinjet flew up and began shooting at him. He flew to the end of the runway and jumped off, making the Quinjet follow him and shoot the glass of the room underneath the Helicarrier. Jessie fought with Steve on his way to the first Helicarrier.
"Eight minutes, Serge," Agent Hill said.
"Got it," Jessie replied. Sam helped Steve get to the first Helicarrier, replacing the chip with the one Nick provided. Sam got into the second Helicarrier.
"I'm in," he spoke. He replaced the chip in the lock and began to fly away.
"Two down, one to go," Maria said.
"Last one, guys," Jessie spoke up. "My time to shine." Jessie noticed the planes on the ground runway exploding. She saw a familiar figure recognizing it to be the Winter Soldier. She was on the first Helicarrier with Steve.
"Six minutes," Maria said.
"Hey Sam? I'm gonna need a ride!"
"Roger. Let me know when you're ready." Jessie took Steve's shield and began running to the edge of the Helicarrier. Steve followed, but let her go. Two soldiers were behind them. One had a Machine Gun, the other had a Missile Launcher. They shot, but Jessie jumped before being hit.
