Certain elements from the previous fallout games will be returning in Fallout Missouri, but with a few tweaks to make it smoother and more balanced.
The power armor system from Fallout 4/76 will make a return in the game, but instead of relying on perks to unlock certain modifications, you'll have to find blue prints around the map to unlock them.
Weapon customization from Fallout 4 will make a return, but it would work similarly to the system in New Vegas. Instead of relying on perks, you'll have to find blueprints to unlock the modifications and you can only customize your weapons to a certain degree much like it was handled in New Vegas. You can only add/modify certain parts of a gun (Scopes, barrels, magazines, etc.) and can not modify the receivers to increase damage. You can also customize the coloring of the gun by adding in weapon skins, which can be found either as rewards, random drops or blueprints. As for how you can craft them, it'll be like Fallout 4s method of gathering junk and using them for the mods you wish to get.
Armor customization is basically like fallout 4, except you need blueprints to unlock the mods instead of perks.
