Chapter 21~ The Wind/Sky Key

Wendy's P.O.V~

I took a mission with Romeo for babysitting while the parents went out for a date night. Romeo was sitting on the couch while I was putting the kids to bed for the night. As I was walking down the stair Romeo was watching the TV. "Alright they are down for the night...Thanks for helping me with them today." Your welcome Wendy you know I always like coming on these missions with you but where is Carla doesn't she normal go on these missions with you? "Yeah she does but she was tired from Happy bothering her yesterday I left her alone at the apartment so she could sleep." Romeo nods his head then turns back towards the TV.

A few hours later the parents come back from the date. Oh thank you both so much for watching the kids. The mother said. "It wasn't a problem at all they were fun to play with and they should be sleeping." Thank you so much Wendy here is the reward as promised. The father handed me the Rewards which was 200,000 jewel so 100,000 for me and the other thousand for Romeo. Alright we better get going we have a train to catch. I nodded and said bye to the parents while chasing after Romeo. As get to the Train station rather quickly and buy our tickets.

As we enter the train and find seats Romeo asks me a question. Hey Wendy what the thing on your head? I give him a confused look and started touching the top of my head. After a few minutes of touching around I felt something and grabbed it. It looked like a key but I don't understand how it got there cause I gave the keys back to the parents.  Romeo looks it confused. Why don't we ask Lucy-nee and Yukino-chan when we get back? I shook my head. "No we can't they are on a mission sent by the master so who knows when they will be back." Oh yeah I forgot about that.

I giggle at him for a second then look back at the key. I felt some sort of connection to the key for some reason. I don't question it and put it in the backpack I brought for safe keeping until I can ask Lucy or Yukino-chan. Romeo and I got back to Magnolia after 2 hours of being on the train. We start walking back to the guild quickly. As soon as we got back Romeo went straight for his father and I went for the normal table that I sit at with Carla. But she wasn't there which confused me. I saw Natsu-nee was talking to happy so I went over there quickly.

"Hi Natsu-san, Happy have you guys seen Carla?" Sorry Wendy I haven't Happy? Happy stopped eating his fish and looked at me. She's still at your place Wendy I checked but she said she wasn't feeling well. I nodded then left the guild back to my place at Fairy hills. After walking for 30 minutes I made it back to my room and unlocked the door. I walked inside and seen Carla in her bed. "Carla how are you feeling?" Wendy back from you mission already?  I nodded quickly and went over to her. She looked flushed and a bit paler than normal. 

I left Carla to sleep while I made some soup for us to eat. After about 45 minutes I woke Carla back up and gave her some soup she thanked me and quickly started eating. We ate dinner and I told her about my job. After talking about my job Carla went back to sleep while I went to wash the dishes. After I was done I took a nice shower and sat in the room for the rest of the day to watch over Carla.

Timeskip~The next morning

I woke up at 9 and started getting ready for the day. Carla woke up shortly after I got dressed. "How you feeling today Carla?" Better thank you for asking. I nodded quickly finished getting ready. I started making breakfast while Carla got ready. We ate breakfast and left Fairy Hills for the guild. Once we made it I saw everyone partying for no reason which is normal for Fairy tail. I went towards the normal table we sit at and saw Romeo waiting.

Good morning Wendy and Carla. Good morning Romeo. "Good morning Romeo." We sat and talked about stuff till about 12:30 we got up and sat at the bar. Hello Wendy and Romeo how are you both doing. "Good thanks can I get a sandwich and a drink please Mira." She nods and goes to the kitchen quickly. I talk to Romeo more until I noticed someone sit next to me. Good afternoon Wendy and Romeo. Hi Lucy-nee how was your mission?  It was good very tired though I just came to get a shake. We talk to Lucy for a little bit then I remembered something.

"Oh Lucy-san do you mind looking at this thing quickly." Sure what is it Wendy? I took off my backpack and took out the key from yesterday that Romeo found on my head. "Do you know what this key is?"  I showed her the key and she took it to take a closer look at it. "Another one of these huh?  I looked at her confused. Ah Natsu and Gajeel handed me the same kind of key about 3 months ago Natsu was first then Gajeel was second I know they are the Celestial Key but I can't tell which type. I just nodded my head quickly. "You can keep it if you want Lucy-san."

She just looks at me and nods her head. Are you sure Wendy? "Yeah go ahead I won't have an use for it after all I'm not a spirit mage like you Lucy-san." She smiles at me then hooks it to her key ring which holds other keys I've never seen before. "Hey Lucy-san what kind of keys are those?" I don't know the red one came for Natsu and the Gray one came from Gajeel and the other ones where from the quest Master sent us on almost 2 years ago. I just nod Mira came back with my sandwich and drink and with Lucy's shake. I eat quickly then head back to Carla but I think I forgot something...
