The Quest for the Dragon Keys

Chapter 22~ Key of Shadows

Rouge P.O.V~

Sting and I were walking around Magnolia since we still have a few more months left of this mission. I don't understand since we're not really doing anything besides missions that we are sent on from the master of Fairy Tail. Sting-san, Rouge-san wait for me!!! I heard a voice yell. We turned around and saw that it was Yukino. Hey Yukino you back from the mission already? Sting questioned while turning back around. Yeah we did Lucy and I had some problems but at least we weren't gone for 6 months like the last one this one only took 2. 

I just walk next to them quietly while they were talking. After a while of talking Yukino let us again saying she needed to go back to the guild hall with Lucy. So what did you think of the mission Yukino told us about? "I guess it was alright she didn't seem hurt." Yeah I guess your right come on let's get to Fairy Tail. I nod quickly then we headed straight towards Fairy Tail.

Yukino's P.O.V~

I left Sting and Rouge and ran to the guild hall quickly to meet up with Lucy. Yukino perfect your here!!! Lucy said while waving to me. "Yeah sorry I was talking with Sting and Rouge for a little about our "mission". Lucy just nodded her head. We quickly walked back into the guild hall and sat at the counter. Hello Lucy and Yukino how was your mission? "It was good Mira took a bit while longer but that didn't stop us." Mira just nodded her head and went back to work. Of course if your wondering we weren't really on a mission we were training with Grandeeny the sky dragon but it took 2 weeks which is 2 months on Earth Land.

A little bit later while Lucy and I were sitting at the bar. Sting and Rouge walk in and sit at their normal table but something was different the key on Rouge's head was gone. I elbowed Lucy a little then pointed towards Rouge. She looked over there then nodded with me. We both got up and went towards the dragon slayers. "Hello Sting and Rouge." They waved to me. Sorry Rouge but do you mind if we ask you a quick question? He looked at me then back at Lucy.

Sure...? Rouge looked at Lucy with a questioned look. You don't happen to have seen a black key anywhere we lost it and we both know your more observant than Sting. Rouge chuckled a little bit while Sting looked heartbroken. Yeah do you mean this key? Rouge takes out a key and shows it to us. Lucy grabs it then hands it to me. "Yeah this is it where did you find it Rouge?" After we were talking and you took off to meet Lucy I heard a clank and this was on the ground. I quickly hooked it to my key ring. "Thanks Rouge we just got it from our last mission!"

He nodded then started to talk to Sting again. Lucy and I walked away quickly and went back to the bar. So did you girls get what you wanted? Mira asked us as she set down our drinks. Yeah I feel bad that we had to trick him a little and lie but we needed that key before he lost it. I nodded then said. "Yeah but knowing Rouge he would have handed it over like the rest thinking it was ours in the first place." They nod quickly meaning they understood. 

Timeskip the next day cause that was just gonna lead on forever!!!!

Lucy and I we're walking to the guild to get some breakfast and go on another "Mission". Yuki you ready?  I nodded quickly for I was really excited to learn some Shadow dragon slaying magic from Rouge's father! We opened the door to the guild but a table came flying at us!!! CELESTIAL BARRIER!!!! Lucy shouted quickly the table broken against the barrier. I sighed in relief. Woah Luce how did you do that!?!?! We heard Natsu shout quickly everyone turned to look at us. "We've been training our powers to do something else besides summon spirits."

They all nodded and quickly returned to what they we're doing. We walked towards Mira and she gave us a good breakfast. You girls ready for the last mission Master will send you both on? We nodded finished off our breakfast and started heading up stairs. Lucy knocked on the master's doors and we heard a faint come in. We entered the office and sat down.

Master's P.O.V~

I heard a knock on the door and said come in.  I looked up from the magazine I had and placed it down I don't hide it from the girls anymore cause they have walking in on me reading it too many times. "Ah girls are you ready?" Yes we are Master we will be back in a month alright? I nodded at the girls. "Good luck girls soon your training will be complete." They nodded then grabbed their special keys. Open gate to the dragon realm!!! They entered into the portal then it close behind them quickly. I just hope they get back on time.

Timeskip one month cause I'm being very lazy...sorry

I was working on the paper work from the last Team Natsu mission they destroyed half the town once again. I sighed and worked quickly so I could read my magazine. During the work I heard the portal open knowing that it was the girls. Hey Master Markov were back!!! I heard Yukino say. Hey Master how's it going? I looked up from the paper work. "Hello girls how was training?" It was a blast I didn't know it was gonna be so much fun learning shadow magic!!! Yukino explained. I chuckled at her then looked at Lucy. "While you both were gone Sting handed me something saying it fell on his head." They just looked at me confused. I opened my desk drawer and handed them the last key they needed for their quest from the King. 

Their eyes widen quickly and Lucy grabbed the key. When did you get this?  I looked back at the papers again "About half way during the month while you both we're gone." Is Sting and Rouge still here?  I shook my head. "No sorry they went on a mission that Master Jeimma gave them but they should be back next week." Yukino looked down but nodded. The key they needed is with them now all they need is the training. Lucy started to cheer Yukino up and she smiled knowing they we're done. I had a funny feeling this coming up week was gonna be a good one.

~And done woo!!! Agh my fingers hahaha anyways before I post this I just wanted to say thanks for the comments everyone leaves it's made me super happy!!! I glad everyone that reads this is liking it I was always afraid of sharing my stories cause I thought people would hate them. BUT I'm not gonna make this sad I'm gonna make it happy. I decided that I am gonna try and do the Christmas One-shot but it might be short but I am gonna need some help on which couple to try!!!  Anyway before this gets to long thanks for reading and thanks again to the comments and I hope you all have a lovely night!!!!
