The Quest for the Dragon Keys

Chapter 6~Getting Flora's Key

~Erza's P.O.V.~

After about a 5 hour train ride we make it to Flower Cove.  Lucy and Gray get Natsu off the train while Rouge helps Yukino with Sting.  We all walk to the Mayor house and I knock on the door.  We see a maid open the door. Oh hello are you the wizards that we asked help for?  "Yes that is us."  We all show you guild marks.  She let's us in and then leads us to the Mayor's office. We shortly enter the office. Sir the Fairy Tail and Sabertooth wizards are here.  Oh great please come in introduce yourself. "Hello my name is Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail we also have Gray Fullbuster, Lucy Heartfillia, Natsu Dragneel, Wendy Marvell, and of course their exceeds Happy and Carla."

Yukino then steps forward. Hello my name is Yukino Agria from Sabertooth and my partners are Sting Educiffe and Rouge Cheney with their exceeds Frosh and Lector. Lovely to meet you all thank you for coming as we said in the job our town has been mostly taken over by plants and we need to find the source.  We all nod then leave the house.

~Sting's P.O.V.~

We all leave the mayor's house and decided it would be best to work in groups.  Yukino goes with Lucy, Erza and Gray, Natsu and Happy, Wendy and Carla, Rouge and I, then Frosh and Lector.  We all then head off to different parts of the forest.  Rouge and I head west to look for the roots of the plant.  "Rouge did you see anything?" He shakes his head no then heads into the shadow to look better and quicker. Let's hope the other teams are doing better.

~Gray's P.O.V.~

Erza and I are looking around the east side of the woods. We see all the plants but no source. Erza changes into her Heaven's Wheel armor to try and see the source in the sky.  Gray do you see anything on the ground?  I shook my head no then asked "Did you see anything from the sky?"  She shakes her head but then see's something.  Gray do you see that big vine?  "Yeah I do should we follow it?"  Yeah let's go!!! We take off running following the vine.

~Natsu's P.O.V.~

Happy takes to the sky as we head south. I start running after him while looking around the ground. NATSU!!! I hear happy scream then fly down. "What is it happy did you find something?"  I found a giant vine and it almost grabbed at me but I flew away before it did. I grab Happy then run off the find the giant vine. We find it quickly. "Is that it happy cause if it is that's HUGE!!!" Happy nods his head but then the vine grabs happy and runs away.  "OH CRAP HAPPY!!!" I run after the vine and happy.

~Wendy's P.O.V.~

Even though I don't like going alone I have Carla with me and we go North East. Be careful Wendy there is branches everywhere. "Alright I'll be careful." She nods then continues flying by my side. After a little bit of walking we find a giant vine I go to touch it but it attacks me instead.  I manage to dodge it but it then goes after Carla. She flies out of the way to dodge it but it grabs her with another vine.  WENDY!!! The vine drags Carla away.  "CARLA!!!"  I run after Carla and the vine. Oh Carla please be okay!

~Lucy's P.O.V.~

We all go separate ways, Yukino and I go North because we felt a key's power in the north.  Shortly after walking we see vines zoom past us with blue, white, pink, and red.  LUSHEE, LUCY, YUKINO!!!  Yukino and I look at each other then run after the vine knowing it was Happy, Carla, Frosh and Lector.  We run after the vines until we see a giant tree.  Oh goodness what is that? "It looks like a tree Yuki please call the others I'll try to find the Exceeds!" She nods and grabs her phone to call everyone. Meanwhile I look for the exceeds.  "HAPPY, CARLA, LECTOR, FROSH!?!?"

I call out but I don't get an answer.  I see a little hole big enough to fit Wendy possible me.  "What the heck is that?"  I go closer to the little hole and stick my head inside.  I see the exceeds in a plant ball big enough to fit them all but small enough for them to not get out.  I take my head out and hurry back to Yukino. Lucy did you find them? "Yeah I did their inside the tree but I don't think I'll fit inside I can try but Wendy might fit a bit better than me."  The other said they would be here quickly.  "Alright look out for them I'm gonna try to fit in that opening in the tree." She nods and I run off.

~Yukino's P.O.V.~

Lucy runs off behind the tree again and I'm waiting for the other to show up.  They all show up a little while later. Where is Lucy? Erza asked me.  "She's behind the tree there was a little opening and she found the exceeds in there follow me"  We quickly run behind the tree and find the opening.  Lucy-san are you in there?  Wendy?  Yeah I'm in I barley fit though do you  mind coming in and helping me? Yeah I'm coming. Wendy goes to enter but something stops her.  "Wendy are you alright?"  Yeah I'm fine but I can't go in and help Lucy-san. I walk toward the hole and enter in barley. Yuki where is Wendy? "It seems that they can't pass through."

Alright uh I need something sharp to cut the vines.  I run back to the hole.  "Does anyone have a knife or something sharp Lucy can't break it with her hands."  They all shake their head no so I stick my head back inside. "They don't have a knife or anything what do we do now Lucy?"  I don't know I really don't want to hurt the tree or the vines but I want to save the exceeds. We both start thinking of something but someone start talking.  Lucy and Yukino both sent by the Celestial King to find the Dragon Keys.  "Who's there?"  My name is Flora the Nature Dragon may I ask what you want from me?  We just want our friends but I don't want to hurt you or your plants. 

Oh goodness I didn't know they were your friends I'm so sorry.  The plants then retract and let the exceeds go.  They run over to us and hug our legs.  "Thank you for freeing our friends Flora" We look at the exceeds and they go running towards the hole. May I ask why you are attacking the near by village with your plants?  They've been cutting down my trees and destroying my flowers so I thought it would be fair to attack them as well plus I can't go back to my normal realm.

~Lucy's P.O.V.~

Her normal realm?  What do you mean your normal realm?  Yukino asked confused.  My normal realm is called the dragon realm but since were keys we've let our world disappear to sadness.  "That is so sad may we have your key for safe keeping we're gonna try to find all the dragons to keep them safe so people don't use your power for wrong things."  That would sound nice there would be a test to get my key but since you cared so much about your friends and not trying to hurt me I'll let you take it. 

A few plants open and we see a green key I walk up and grab it.  The tree then disappears and we see our friends.  They come running to us and pull Yukino and I into a hug.  We show them a green key and we head back to the mayor's house to get our reward.
