"What do you mean he got away?! HOW the fuck did you let him get away?!" Katsuki Bakugo could feel his blood boiling as it coursed through his veins. He loomed over the half and half boy with rage, clenching his fists.

"I don't know." Shoto responded blankly, not looking at Bakugo.

"You don't know? He was right there! He was literally right there! We could've brought him home-"

"Drop it." Shoto growled pushing past Bakugo.

"What the hell did he say to you to have you let him get away? I thought you were better than this. What? Did you let him get away?"

"Shut up Bakugo." He hissed.

"It was our job to bring Deku home! It was our responsibility! You fucked it up! "

"SINCE WHEN?!" Shoto turned on Bakugo and yelled. "SINCE WHEN IS THAT OUR JOB?! IZUKU IS GONE! GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF!"

"Both of you shut up!" Kirishima yelled from the ground. "I don't care if you're angry. I don't care if he got away. I don't care what he said to you. Shut the fuck up."

Bakugo looked over at Kirishima and took a deep breath.

"Listen Todoroki, You had no right to let him escape. There was no reason he should've gotten away." Katsuki said in a soft growl (If that's even possible) "Did he hurt you?"

Shoto looked down.

He hadn't been hurt at all physically but he had done mental damage beyond repair. Katsuki would never understand.

He knew Bakugo was angry about Kirishima getting hurt for nothing, and Shoto getting nothing except maybe a bruise or too.

"That's what I thought. You're weak. We had the chance to bring him home after three years. Three years. His mother would be ecstatic to know her son isn't dead. Uraraka would love to see him again. But you blew it. Midoriya's gone." Bakugo brushed back Todoroki and helped Kirishima up, letting the red haired boy use his shoulder for support. "Again."

"And it's all your fault."

Then he left, tugging Eijiro's wounded body with him. Kirishima looked back at the boy as he limped away with the blonde, sympathy in his  red eyes. Todoroki couldn't move. As much as he wanted to hate Bakugo for saying those things...

He could only agree with him.

All he could here was the voice of Izuku flickering around in his head, driving him mad with every passing second.

You claim to be nothing like your father but you're just like him.

Stop.

You become a more revolting person.

Please leave me alone...

You were never anything to me.

The words. They stung so badly as they whispered to themselves in Shoto's brain once more. If only he had-

Stop it. There's nothing more I could've done.

But if only I had-

That's not Izuku!

He found small amounts of comfort in that statement but it was very short lived. Somewhere deep inside the half and half hero, knew that, that was Izuku Midoriya. He was merely a boy in denial, he couldn't let his brain accept it. There's no way that could be the boy who was his best friend...
