CHAPTER TEN
SETH
The sound of my phone going off interrupts my workout session. I've been trying to hold back from going to see Daisy so I don't seem too clingy, and working out seems to be the only way to do that.
I set down the weight and grab my phone to see a text from the angel herself.

I don't hide the smile that appears on my face from those two simple words.

wanna come over? dustin is going out and he said to ask if you would come stay with me.
The thought of seeing her has me jumping up from the bench and heading to my room to get ready.

I put my phone down and hop into the shower after grabbing some new clothes. About fifteen minutes later i'm dressed and ready to go.

I knock on the wooden door and slip my hands in my front pockets.
A few seconds later, the door is opened and Dustin appears. He sends me a smile. "Hey man, thanks for doing this." We do our handshake and I enter.
"No problem. Where are you headed anyways?"
Dustin avoids my gaze. "Just meeting up with someone."
