Lily grew up into a life of despair. She had never been outside of Texas, had never owned a cellphone, and had never touched anything remotely close to gold. Her family couldn't afford it.

But Lily didn't mind. She knew the circumstances her parents were in when she was conceived, so she never complained. All she had to do to ease their worry about her future was to study hard in school and go to college. It was their lifetime goal.

So that's exactly what she did. In her entire student career, she had never missed a day of school. Sick days didn't exist.

It's her last year in high school, though the end has never seemed so far away.

Lily starts off the year like every other, but after meeting Kim Taehyung, her life shifts to toward another direction.
