Emily has been riding for about a week, the days are getting colder and colder as she heads north towards the Night's Watch. Less and less people start being seen since not many are in the North. When she was a girl she loved hearing stories about White Walkers and giants. Emily wasn't a big believer in fairytales, but it is rather strange for a massive wall made out of ice to be out there. If the walkers weren't real...then why is the wall up?

It was dark out and snow was covering the ground and the trees branches in a blanket of white. When she does pass people they are men, they have lustful needs in their eyes. She mentally thanked herself for cutting her hair short before traveling to the Nights Watch. Traveling alone as a women is not the safest thing to be doing in the middle of the woods really.

She decided to take her break for the night and let her horse get some rest. Emily built a quick tent with four large sticks and large clothe she got from a local market, she built a fire to keep warm from the bitter cold. She tied her horse up and slept next to the burning coals to stay warm. Peaceful sleep consumed her mind and all the worries slipped away from her. It didn't take long for her to slip into one of her frequent nightmares.

"You are no daughter of mine!"

"You disgust me!"

"Wake up!"

Emily was jolted awake my men dressed in black around her mounted on horses.

A man with cold eyes and grey hair spoke first with authority, "what are you doing here this time of night? Don't you know you're trespassing?"

She didn't know how to respond all she could muster out was, "My apologizes, I'm a bit lost," she said looking around her camp into the trees pretending she didn't know where she was.

He looked at her skeptically, "You have clearly wandered a bit too far north, there is no town here for miles," he said unamused. Emily started to become worried, who were these men?

Another guard spoke, "We will ask again before we get on unfriendly term. Why. Are. You. Here," he said slowly keeping eye contact with her. Emily started to rise to her feet she checked her surroundings to see her horse still tied up. Before she could decide how to get out of this predicament, something hard hit the side of her head and she was out cold.

"Out like a light ayy like a light slept through the flight ayyy"
