" What do you want?" I grumbled into the phone.
" It's one in the afternoon. Why are you still asleep?"
" I'm tired. Long night. What do you need?"
" Nothing. Just letting you know I'm leaving home," Bri said.
" Have fun. Text me when you get there."
" OK. Love you!"
" Yeah yeah. Bye."
I hung up before she could say anything else and tossed my phone onto the floor. I closed my eyes and was just about to drift off to sleep again until I thought about Austin. Jumping out of bed quickly, I grabbed my phone and tiptoed toward his bedroom door. I heard the shower running and immediately felt excited. As I waited I pulled up my camera on my phone and leaned against the wall. The shower cut off several minutes later and I smiled to myself.
Several seconds later I heard a scream and bit down on my bottom lip to keep from laughing. Austin opened his door with force and I quickly took a picture of him, his face twisted in shock and anger.
" What the fuck?!"
" It seems Santa paid you a visit too," I commented making sure the picture turned out good.
Satisfied, I turned my attention back to Austin. His hair was a bright pink, still dripping water beads. His hand went to his towel around his waist, adjusting it better.
" You pushed the limits sweetie. This is war."
" Oh shut up. It will only stay pink for two days," I said turning my back to him, making my way back to my room.
" Hopefully," I whisperer, but loud enough for him to hear.
" What!"
I closed and locked my bedroom door before Austin could come in. Laughing, I sent the picture to Bri, telling her to post it on all social media she has.
" If I'm going to be a bitch, might as well act like the best one there is," I mumbled to myself.

" What happened to your parents anyways? I haven't seen them. " I asked Austin, sitting on the couch as I ate my bowl of Lucky Charms.
" I don't know. Didn't leave a note like your parents did."
I nodded, noticing the change of tone in his voice but didn't care to point it out.
" So I think pink does you well."
He shot me a glare before going back to looking at his phone. He's spent that last hour on Google trying to find a way to get it out.
" You aren't going to find anything. One step ahead of you."
Frustrated, he tossed his phone beside him on the couch and ran a hand through his hair.
" OK. I have to admit. You are pretty smart."
" I know," I said with a grin.
He just shook his head and sighed.
" So I'm assuming I went viral, huh."
I laughed and sat down my bowl on the table.
" Yeah. Bri does have a lot of social media. Tons of followers on each site too."
He shook his head and I saw a smile tugging at his lips.
" I bet Brianna admired the picture before sending it. Maybe pleasured herself while she was at it. I mean, I was fresh out the shower, only a towel wrapped around my waist."
" You are so disgusting! And don't dare talk about Bri like she is one of your hoes. She never will be." I said disgusted and angry.
Hey, Bri is my best friend. I have to defend her.
He raised an eyebrow and smirked.
" Bet you still have the picture on your phone too. Going to use it later tonight? I can buy you a couple things if you'd like."
I stood up so quickly I got light headed. I stood over him, liking the fact I was looking down on him.
" Do not talk to me or about Bri as if we are some skanks. It will be the last words you say." I threatened quietly.
He looked up at me, amusement displayed on his face.
" I like them fiesty," he said before winking.
Before I could stop myself I punched him square on the nose.
" Go fuck yourself," I mumbled before walking away.
" Bitch!"
" Yeah I know."
" Shit. Can you at least get me a napkin or something. Geez!"
I groaned but grabbed a couple paper towels and brought them to him. I felt bad for punching him but at the same time he needed to know I wasn't kidding around.
" Move your hands," I grunted.
He glared at me and I rolled my eyes.
" I'm trying to help. Just move your fucking hands. I need to see if its broken."
He slowly moved away his hands and I quickly put the paper towels to his nose. After slowing the bleeding down and a roll of paper towels I told him it wasn't broken but was going to be bruised.
" How do you know so much about medical stuff?" He asked as I continued to examine his nose.
" Watch crime shows. Learn a few things every now and then."
" Guessing thats how you learned how to punch too."
" No. Took self defense classes."
" Why would you do that?"
I tensed and stopped moving.
" May?"
I quickly got up and took all the bloody stuff with me.
" Clean the blood off the couch then put a bag of ice on your nose. Left side mostly," I said quickly before taking the stairs, two at a time.
I closed my bedroom door quietly and went to the corner of my room, hugging my knees to my chest. Before I knew what I was doing, I heard Bri on the other end of the phone.
" Memories," I whispered quietly into the phone, rocking my body.
Bri went straight into serious best friend mode and started consulting me, trying to help me calm down.
" Its OK baby. Where are you? Everything OK? Anybody around?"
I could only manage a low quiet cry as tears began to stream down my face.
