" I honestly don't know what to do."
" Me neither."
Austin and I were laying in bed, staring at the ceiling.
" Want to go walk around?"
I shrugged.
" I guess."
" Ok. Let's get dressed."
Five minutes later we were still laying in bed staring at the ceiling.
" Alright for real. Let's go. I'm bored shitless."
Austin got up and I watched him walk to the closet, in his boxers.
I sighed and got up, following him, in a baggy tee. After getting dressed and me brushing through my curls, we walked out, making sure to lock the door.
" May."
" Yeah?"
" Nothing. I just like saying your name."
I rolled my eyes but smiled. We walked into a small little shop that had many items that varied from jewelry to odd instruments.
" Tell me if there's anything you like."
" I have my own money," I said, picking up a crystal turtle.
As I looked around the store I found a couple things I thought would look good in the apartment. Grabbing a basket I placed the crystal turtle and some other house accessories.
" Hey Austin. What do you think of-"
I stopped and stared in disbelief. A girl was pressed against him, her lips me really not even an inch from his. I remember her. The skank from when Austin picked me up late. I walked in the rain because I was so pissed.
" Ashley," I said.
She turned to me and Austin quickly pushed her away, not too forcefully though.
" May I swear-"
" It's exactly what it looked like. We were about to kiss," Ashley said with a nasty grin.
I shrugged.
" It's fine."
They both looked at me shocked. Well, Austin looked more cautious than anything.
" What you think of these pillows for the couch?" I asked, looking at Austin.
" May.."
" I'm going to buy them."
" Here's my card."
I kept walking to the register and after paying I left, taking Austin by his arm and Ashley following.
" He obviously wants me. That's why we had sex within the second week of you two dating!" she called out to me.
I stopped dead in my tracks. In two large strides I was face to face with her.
" You and who had sex together?"
She smirked, obviously enjoying herself.
" Austin and I of course."
I clenched my fist and took a step back, taking deep breaths and counting back from twenty.
" He's all yours," I said, walking past her and to Austin.
I handed him my bags that I had just purchased.
" Don't."
He quickly shut his mouth and I stared into his eyes.
