I am Irene Del Reyes, 16 years old and a nerd. I loves reading books and here I am at the library reading a book, as always.
I do not talk to much and I do not have friends. Not because I am a nerd, it's because I am invisible in others eyes.
I close the book and sighs. I put the book back where it belongs and leave the library.
When I leave the library, as expected she is here.
"I finally found you." She said. I knit my brow and ignore her. I walk as fast as I can so she won't catch up however to my disappointment, she can.
"Why do you always ignore me?" She asked. I stopped and look at her. "It's because I have nothing to do with you." I simply answered what's on my mind.
"Geez. Did you know that most of the people here wants to be your friend? But why are you so unapproachable?"
My eyes flashed in comfusement. "Why?" I asked.
"Because you are always alone and you look cold. " I saw her pouting and eager to be friends with me.
Stupid. I thought of her.
For the first time, I smiled at her. "I am not alone. You're here, right?" and simply walked as if nothing happened.
She was amazed and felt she succeeded. "Of course I am here!"
"Hey, wait for me!"

Being alone does not mean you are cold, hater, lonely, rich, b*tch or just because you are a nerd( If) . It can be either you are waiting for someone to be friends with you or you are simply lazy to be fit in the community and loves to spend time alone.
But remember, having someone besides you gives you a feeling of you are not alone and there is someone you can share your thoughts too.
I, Irene became friends with her without realizing myself from the start.
