Third Person POV
After everyone arrived at their individual residences, Plan thought that it would be a waste of the other two free days to just stay home and mope around.
Plan decided to go over to Mean and invite himself into Mean's house to play video games with him. They were both very competitive and were always trying to outdo each other during break times from filming at the set of the series.
Early the next day, because Plan had always been an early riser, he drove over to Mean's house. He did not call or text Mean because he wanted to surprise him. He did not want to give him a chance to say no.
Plan knew that eight in the morning was still too early for Mean to be awake so Plan had an idea. He climbed over the fence, and then knowing from the night that he and the group had a drinking session at Mean's house, he figured that the bedrooms would be upstairs.
Plan looked around for a way to climb up to reach the veranda on the second floor.
Luck was with him. As he walked along the space between the other side of the solid fence and the wall of the house, he noticed a ladder lying against the side of the fence almost near the back of the house. He had almost missed it because it had been cleverly hidden by an old discarded tarp material.
Lady Luck continued to smile on Plan as Plan discovered that the sliding glass doors leading into the bedroom were unlocked.
He should advise Mean later to make sure that he locked these doors every night before going to sleep because he could so easily be a victim of home invasion.
Mean's POV
I was awakened by some noise. I was barely awake so I could not tell where the noise was coming from. It sounded like a faint scraping of metal against metal.
Then the sound stopped.
I was going to drift back to sleep but I got alerted by the sound of footsteps on the veranda just outside the sliding glass door of my bedroom.
I sat up in bed. Was I going to be the victim of a home invasion?
I had drawn the heavy curtains last night before I went to bed so I couldn't see who was outside my bedroom and I was not going to wait and peek to see who it was. Besides, I did not want the intruder to see my presence.
I tiptoed as fast as I could to the hallway closet where my father kept his golf clubs.
My heart was pounding like crazy as I stood behind the curtains holding a golf club in my hands. I promised myself never again to be lazy about locking the glass sliding doors of the veranda before going to bed.
Shit! The intruder was slowly sliding the glass doors open. I could clearly see his shadow behind the curtains. The intruder was not as tall as I was. I could so easily overpower him without having to use the golf club but I wasn't going to take any chances. I had to make sure that I knocked him out cold with the club.
As soon as the intruder came through the door, I did not give him a chance to open the curtain. I whacked him on the head while he was still standing behind the curtain.
He fell unconscious without a sound on the thick carpet of my bedroom. His bleeding head stuck out from under the curtain.
I almost lost consciousness when I saw that it was P'Plan.
What in the name of all that was holy gave him the idea of sneaking into my house???
I rushed to grab my phone that was lying on my bedside table and called the paramedics and then blacked out myself before the paramedics could arrive.
