Don't freak out. I have not gone insane and i have not forgotten the plot, but I have written this chapter in the third person because it was so overwhelming for Eve.

Everything happened in a rush once the whole thing sunk into Evelyn's head. Her whole life has been a play, and she wasn't aware of it. Her life had been an illusion of normal parents and a perfectly mundane childhood.

Now, looking at where she has ended up, she felt pathetic. Strong, really. To be able to make it through the whole fiasco, she was beyond grateful she made it out alive. However, making it out alive, and being peaceful are two completely polar opposites. And she was more of the former than the latter. In fact, she had a war going on in her head.

Chaos, neverending, thus there will be no aftermath to see. By the time the aftermath has occurred, she will be long gone. Either lost her mind or her life.

Let's take it back to how her day began.

She woke up, nervous. The feeling in her stomach is as if she was on a rollercoaster going down without coming up. Heart dropping.

After leaving Chase's place with him, Charlie and Zach, they made their way to the church. Although the message said there's a wedding to crash, the place was nearly dead. The graveyard was creepily silent, white roses decorated the gate with their dried up brown petals and there was no sign of life.

Fast forward to Zachary's speech and proposal, which left Evelyn in a lightheaded state of mind.

She loves him. God, she loves him more than she could comprehend. But she gave him several chances, all of which he took for granted and misused. She was aware of her worth, knows what she deserves. She learned it the hard way, after Chase. And she will not let another person, or love, take her worth away from her. Not again.

She ought to refuse, although her mind and heart both begged her not to. Her battered and bruised soul stood strongly by her point.

Then the actual overwhelming part began when Unknown was revealed. What knocked her breath out was Fay, standing there, traumatized. And her father, Richard, turned out to be the murderer. Brutal, cold.

She will never forget this day, not only because that was exposed, but because of the fact that she found out she has another family. Contrary to the one she had before the accident, this one was more messed up.

The fit man in the full black suit that kept him warm and the icy cold grey orbs with handsome features, also her parents' killer, turns out to be her father. Her best friend is her sister. Evelyn felt dizzy.

Moments later she was back outside, with the snow falling lightly on her white-blonde hair as she wrapped her coat closer to her chest and shivered. Red and blue lights blinded her vision as the cops pulled over, giving her a mild headache. The sirens filled the otherwise dead area with its lively wails that would've deafened her if her hearing wasn't as blurry as her eyes. She felt like she could pass out in any second if Chase had not been wrapping his arms around her shoulder and rubbing it for comfort.

This is it. The moment the whole thing will be wrapped up. Cuffed up, Richard kept wailing like a maniac as the officers took him to their car. Faith silently following behind. Although she was not cuffed, they were still going to interrogate her and she did not resist. That is, after her cuts and bruises were cleaned up and bandaged with the aid of the paramedics.

Even though she felt uneasy with the exposed truth, Evelyn felt a weight being lifted off her shoulders. At least everyone is safe now. She breathed out, still not uttering a word, and shivered.
