"Michael! Are we almost there?" Luke complained as he was dragged down the street, away from his home.

"Yes." Michael grinned, holding tighter to his friends hand.

"Is the blindfold really necessary?" Luke tried to pull the bandana off from around his head, only to have his hand slapped away by Michael.

"Yes."

"Do you say anything other than yes?"

"Yes." Luke could hear the smile in Michael's voice as he was yanked to the right.

Luke listened closer to his surroundings. It was a beautiful day, one of them where it's not to hot and not to cold. He could hear the shouts of happy children and the high pitched tweets of birds. It relaxed him. Soon the pavement underfoot switched to the soft crunch of grass.

"Michael, are we at the park?"

"Yes," Michael stopped walking and Luke bumped into his back.

"Dammit, you've got to warn me when you're gonna do that!" Luke exclaimed, only receiving a laugh from Michael.

"Can I take this damned bandana off now?" Without waiting for a answer, he ripped the blindfold off his head.

"Aww, Luke, you've ruined the surprise!" Michael teased, and Luke swatted at his arm, missing by a few inches.

"Alright, sit." Michael commanded and Luke dropped his cane, before folding his knees and dropping down with it. Instead of meeting the itchy grass like he expected, he landed on a soft blanket. Michael had dropped his hand and was now rustling through a plastic bag, pulling out all sorts of containers.

"Michael, can you just explain?" Luke patted on the ground in front of him, hands landing on a container of pink lemonade. He carefully unscrewed the cap and smelled the substance.

"Lemonade?" He asked and Michael just smiled.

"Michael, you did not just bring me to a picnic." Luke groaned, but still couldn't help the smile that overtook his face.

"Oh, but Blind, I did. I really did." Michael unwrapped a turkey sandwich, handing it to Luke. He knew it was his favorite. "And now, we feast."

Luke held his sandwich carefully, before leaning down and taking a huge bite.

The two friends spent hours eating all the food Michael had prepared, talking and laughing the entire time. Luke kicked his sneakers and socks off halfway through, and Michael picked off the sunglasses from his face.

"I've told you before I like you better without them." was all he said at Luke's protests.

Before long, everyone else in the park had left, and the sun was beginning to set. It grew dark and even the birds grew quiet.

"No way!" Luke laughed at Michael, who's cheeks were bright red. "You did not!"

"I did" Michael groaned, covering his face with his hands.

"So she asked you out, and you puked on her?

Did she still want to go out?"

"What do you think, smart ass? She was pretty hot too..." Michael slipped off his shoes and pushed the now empty bag of food off the blanket so he could lie down next to Luke. Luke must have felt him, because he moved over to make room for Michael, before putting his hands up under his head.

Luke threw back his head and laughed, a real laugh that made his eyes crinkle and his body shake. Michael smiled as he watched. Seeing Luke so happy made him happy all on it's own.

"You think that's funny, do you?" Michael teased. He reached over and poked Luke's exposed side, causing Luke to gasp and squirm away from Michael.

"God you scared me!" Luke breathed out. Michael's smile only grew. He pushed himself to his feet, and Luke followed suit so they were both standing on the blanket under the stars.

"Well you want to know what I think is funny?" Michael smirked, and Luke lifted his head in question. Michael just sat up and inches his way closer to where Luke was sitting.

Michael slipped his fingers under Luke's shirt, and squeezed his sides gently. "This!" He laughed as Luke's knees buckled underneath him. Michael dropped to the ground with him as Luke squirmed under Michael's hands.

"Oh my Go- Michael! No stoOOP!" Luke gasped for breath while Michael dug his fingers into Luke's ribs. Luke began to giggle in between protests and he fell onto his side under Michael.

"Told you it was funny Blind!" Michael laughed at Luke's frantic movements and ran his fingers lightly over Luke's stomach.

"Mihaeheheheal stoahahp!" Luke rolled onto his back and made to grab Michael's hands, missing every time. His eyes were screwed shut and his mouth was wide with laughter.

"Who knew Blind was so ticklish?" Michael teased and grabbed one of Luke's exposed feet, running his fingers lightly up and down the sole of it. A spasm shot up Luke's leg, and Luke gasped.

"Michael don't doohahaha!" he was cut off Michael intensified his movement.

"I cahahahan't breathe!" Luke shouted and Michael let up, turning to pin Luke's hands above his head.

"Wh- why?" Luke asked, breathing heavy. His stomach shook up and down with each breath.

"Why not?" Michael shrugged, still posed above Luke, knees on either side of his waist.

"I didn't know you were so ticklish." Michael smirked, and Luke sighed loudly. Michael suddenly leaned closer to Luke's face.

"You know what this might look like to other people." Luke muttered, full aware of how close they were together. Michael's breath skirted over Luke's cheeks and he felt himself blush.

"Well then." Michael leaned in, and closed the between their faces.

His lips connected with Luke's and Luke let a small gasp escape his lips. They brushed together lightly, like a gentle breeze. His hands lifted from pinning Luke's wrists down, and moved to either side of his head. Michael pulled back, embarrased. He had probably just ruined the entire thing. Luke would hate him for that.

"I'm sorr-" Michael began, but before he could finish the sentence, Luke leaned up and pulled Micheal back down to him. Their lips connected once more, this time deeper as Luke pulled the colorful-haired boy down on top of himself.

The broke apart, and Michael whispered to Luke, brushing his lips accross the boys.

"Let's give them a show." He smiled against Luke's mouth, and reached down to squeeze Luke's sides once more.
