Ari
"This is Jamie." Jace said, walking back over to the woman on the couch, and my heart sank into my chest remembering the name Jamie. This just couldn't be her, if it is she's bold as hell.
"Are you sure that's her name baby?" I asked, and Jace nodded.
"Mhm." Jace said and I looked up at Bricks who looked mad as hell.
"Come here Jace" He said, as Jace walked over to him and he picked her up, handing her to me and then walking toward the lady on the couch.
"What the fuck did you tell her?" He asked lowly.
"I didn't tell her anything but the truth. That she's my daughter and I'm her mother. I just had to go away for some time." Jamie said.
"You had to go away for some time? Damn near 7 years?? Bitch that's jail time! Stop trying to make it seem like you ain't leave my baby in the hospital by herself and took your trifling ass out the country with some nigga with the money I gave you to support her." He said and her face turned red.
"Ya moms already told me yo. You a foul ass bitch and you honestly need to stay the fuck away from her, deadass." He said.
"G she's my daughter too" Jamie said, causing Bricks to scrunch his face and before he could say anything Jace did.
"No you're not! Ari's my mommy!!" Jace yelled making Jamie look up at me.
"Who the fuck are you?" She asked making me chuckle.
"You heard her correctly. That's what happens when you don't handle your responsibilities as a mother. We may not be blood but Jace is my baby regardless, meanwhile you're just.. a stranger.. So I guess the real question is.. who the fuck are you?" I asked with a confused look and she looked at Bricks who smirked.
"So you teaching my daughter to call your lil bitches her mom?" Jamie asked and before I could speak up Bricks did.
"Chill with all this "my daughter" shit yo. She's not yours. Biologically yes. But she doesn't even know you. And for you to come here and tell her you had to go away for sometime just fucked it up even more. You chose to leave her in that hospital yo. And don't disrespect my girl either, you won't address her as "bitch", her name is Ariana. She's also the woman who's been fixing all the shit you caused since Jace was 2 years old. You don't have to like her but you will respect her." He said causing her to roll her eyes.
"Okay but i'm here to fix it now. She's only 6, she didn't even need me around her." Jamie said and I snapped my neck at her.
"Baby it doesn't matter if she's 6 or 14, this is your child. your daughter at that. It doesn't matter how old you are, you only get one mother in life and your mother is supposed to be your bestfriend. She didn't have that until I came along. There were and still are kids who bully her on a regular, teasing her because she "doesn't have a mommy". It doesn't matter how young she is, kids remember shit. And from the shit that you're saying added on to the shit that you've done, Jace will hate you more and more as she gets older. I'm not saying it because I don't like you I'm saying it because it's real. Watch what you say and do because it will bite you in the ass. Get your shit together baby, being a dumbass don't look good on you." I said looking up at Bricks who nodded.
"You don't know what I felt in that hospital." She said, and at this point I was done.
"Can we leave? I'm tired of being here." I said and he nodded again as we headed toward the door, before hearing footsteps on the steps, causing me to look up, seeing a tall brownskin man standing on the steps.
