Chapter X

As I begun to lose control of myself. I  hear the voice of a woman shouting my name repeatedly. as I slowly open my eyes I snap out of it just to be greeted by the destruction which I caused while I was possessed, what I was greeted with was a nation on fire and a military destabilized. I land and transformed back into my human form. "W..what.." I begin to cry "what have I done?" "Christine, we need to get Scott and get away from here-" "no, we are killing my father-" "LISTEN TO ME CHRISTINE! You were possessed by the darkness!" "The darkness? What's that?" "It surrounds everyone, stalks you, puts false hope in your brain, and waits. Waits till your body just gives up hope. When you gave up hope, it overcame you, same with your father, which is why we asked you to not kill him. We believe that we can revert him." I nod "all right, I'll.. try it." I land and transform back, as I see a bolt of lightning in front of me and a scythe flies out. I dodge it as the scythe swung back around as a girl catches the scythe. "Christine Crimson. And Amy Wingson. It's surprising, seeing one family chapter of the big three meeting one another. So, for the big three meeting again. Let's have a mock battle." "Very well. If you wish to face us and win, you get the Crimson girls." She laughs. "Finally, Amy found out she's a Crimson.." I looked at Amy, she was looking at me with the face of "how?" As we looked at her. "H. How did you know?" "The Calamity family has its ways.." Amy looked shocked "C-Calamity.." "what's wrong?" "The Calamity family." As she frowned in anger. "Where were you when our mother was dying!!" She holds the palm of her hand out, as a scythe with gears on the top with a button in the center of the scythe. The scythe's colors were white with blue lines on the blade following the handle. "Your Mother. Requested to die." I draw out the thunderblade and pull its handle. I began running to her with my sword pointed down, I swiftly swipe up as a cloud of smoke began to surround us. As the smoke electrified, I feel the electricity flow through me, I cry out in pain as the smoke began to slowly disappear. "I'm not here to kill either of you. I'm here to kill your father." "No.. No, I won't let you-" "are you siding with him? Aiding the darkness?" "No.." "then prove it. Prove that you aren't working with the lord of darkness." As she tosses me a crimson red scythe with a black stripe going along the blade, it's handle was green and its gears were white, it also had a trigger on the handle. And in front of the trigger was a magazine, with a side on top of the scythe. "This, was your weapon. The weapon you created and the first six goddesses accept it." I feel the power, speed, and intelligence coming from the scythe. "For this weapon has killed thousands and one god." "One god?" She quickly dashes towards me, as I tightly pull the trigger and was about to dodge, I noticed that time had stopped, but it wasn't moving normally. It was moving slowly, I go behind her then slashed her back and release trigger, as time continues and she collapses on the floor. I rack the scythe back, loading the ammo. I fired at her shoulder, as the scythe fired from the top of the weapon, it made a loud "boom" sound to the gun. As an empty 70mm sniper rifle shell casing flew out of the gun. I see her bleeding from her shoulder. "G..Good." She slowly gets up and her wound healed, and a high-velocity bullet popped out. "I'll let you go, if and only if. You promise me you will kill your father." "No. You stated it yourself, this is a god killer. So, this also is a goddess killer too." I fire another round, round after round until she could barely get up. "I..I'm trying to help you-" "bullshit! You're trying to break my family!" "I'm telling you, Christine, you let him live, you'll regret it-" I hear a shotgun behind me, as the girl fell on the ground. "Sorry, these stupid clones are everywhere." "Eh-" I look up and see that same girl again but this time with a fancy green bracelet "name's Tori Calamity. The real Tori. The descendent of Tagoshi Calamity." "Tagoshi Calamity? I didn't think you were so close to the Calamity bloodline." "And you must be Amy Crimson, I am deeply sorry for your loss-" "how do we know you aren't faking it-" suddenly her bracelet began to glow and a bright green beam came over her. I closed my eyes as the light dimmed down I open them and see she's transformed into a large white Siberian husky, as her body glowed green and she became a girl once more. "Does that prove it?" "All right-" suddenly I feel a sword slash into my left arm, I collapse and fall down. Crying out in pain, I see Amy lifting me up and carrying me. "You're going to be all right! We need to get to Scott's shop and she's losing a lot of blood!" I slowly begin to close my eyes as I black out.

I wake up, standing around in a meadow that was burnt in ashes, and a lone girl. I slowly walk up to the girl, as the girl turned to face me, her face was covered in blood. "Don't trust what you see.." The girl said. I look behind her and see Scott on the ground with a bullet in his head. Suddenly I feel my body being shocked by a large amount of electricity.

I wake up, sitting up quickly on a bed. "W-What-" "Woah Woah, calm down Christine. You're ok." I look at my left arm, I see the elbow of my left arm, there were 2 gears and the other parts of my arm was different parts of metal. "W. What'd you two do to me?" "It's. Your arm. We couldn't give you your railgun. But we did the best we could to replicate it. I'm sorry." "How does it feel?" I close my left hand in a fist then open it. "It felt.. Natural." "Good. The metal that we used is non-rustable. So you don't need to worry about water jamming your gears." "Thank you, Tori. We need to find Scott and get outta here.." "agreed, and we can get you inside." Said the voice of a male behind me. I turn around and see the Sargent and the soldier. "Sargent?" "That mercy kill your friend gave. We understand now.." "Tori told them what they needed to know." "Your father will be paved with blood. One we break you two in we will be defending the gate from incoming attacks. With me and Private Harrison." "Yes." "All right, looks like we got a team." As we follow them to the back of an Armored Hover Patrol Car. Just as the Sargent closes the back and locks it, I see Tori in front of us. I load my scythe sniper rifle up for combat.
