Chapter 3: Date Night

  - 7:00  pm-

*Raven and Laxus walk out of the guild hall. *

Laxus: I hope you're not afraid of Motorcycles. -He smirks-

Raven: Umm I've never been on one before if that answers anything.

Laxus: -Chuckles- Well just hold on tight I won't let anything happen to you.

*They get on the bike and Raven immediately wraps her arms around his torso. Laxus then starts the bike and drives off leaving the guild hall in the distance.

Raven: -Screams-

Laxus: -Laughs-

- 7:20 pm-

At The Restaurant

Laxus: So what did you think? You enjoy the ride?

Raven: Terrifying, but fun.

Host: How can I help you?

Laxus: Reservation for two under Dreyar.

Host: Right this way.- Leads them to their seat-

Raven: Wow this place is really fancy.

Laxus: Well it is the best restaurant in Magnolia! Order whatever you want.

Waiter: Can I start you off with a drink?

Laxus: Let us have a bottle of your nicest champagne.

Waiter: Right away!

Laxus: So tell me about yourself what's your family like, what kind of magic do you use, what is your home like?

Raven: Well that's a lot -laughs awkwardly- I don't have family I was an orphan child at a very young age probably around 5 or 6 until I was found and "taken in" but I wouldn't call those people my family but they did give me the name Raven I don't remember what my birth name was but I've been called Raven my whole life so Im just use to it, it fits it's because I have raven black hair, sorry to side track. Now my magic it doesn't have an official name due to that it has never been seen or heard of before until I came around but I call it Fear Manipulation Magic, basically meaning I can manipulate your fears and make them a reality and use them against you but I don't have full control of it I'm still learning.... and Lastly I'm currently staying with Lucy while my own place is in the works of being built.

Laxus: Wow I'm so sorry about you not having a real family but that's what Fairy Tail is, it's a family and they will always have your back.

Waiter: -Brings the champagne over- Are you ready to order?

Raven: I'll have the Lobster tail I guess.

Laxus: And I'll have a steak well done. 

Waiter: I'll get your orders right in!

Raven: So I told you a lot about me now it's your turn to share!

Laxus: Well I've been at the guild my whole life gramps pretty much raised me because my bum of a dad couldn't. I'm a second generation dragon slayer meaning that I was implanted with a dragon slayer lacroma so I am a lightening dragon slayer and it's also the explanation for the scar on my face. I live kind of out in the woods my home is more of a loft and the Thunder Legion has their own little places out there as well.

*The waiter brings out their food and they sit, talk, laugh, and enjoys their meals for the next hour. Laxus pays the bill and tips and the proceed to leave.*

-8:30pm-

Laxus: Now that dinner is over would you like to go for a walk through the park?

Raven: Yea I'd actually really like that.

*Park*

Raven: -Looking at the night sky- The stars are so beautiful!

Laxus: Just like your eyes.

Raven: -Blushes- That was cheesy but really cute. Thank you. -Shivers-

*Laxus notices Raven shivering so he takes his coat off and wraps her in it.*

Raven: -Blushes- Thank you.

*As they walk through the park their hands gently graze upon each others. Raven casually slips her hand into Laxus'. Laxus gives her hand a gentle squeeze and holds it.*

Laxus: Did you enjoy dinner?

Raven: I did it was very lovely! Answer me this though why did you ask me out? I heard you never date anyone from the guild or at least you haven't since you were a teenager. Which leads me to my next question who was the mystery girl you use to date from the guild?

Laxus: -Laughs- Ok so I use to date Mira when we were teenagers she was a force to be reckoned with back then she still is now but you really gotta break it out of her but believe it or not she's the one who broke up with me, and the reason I wanted to take you out was because you intrigue me you don't put up with my big ego and my shit. You look past me you treat me normal, you don't swoon over me like you seem to not be bothered with me you ignore my cockiness. I know it sound crazy but you're a mystery to me one I really want to get to know and solve.

*Before Raven has a chance to respond it begins to rain they run to a near by tree trying not to get soaked.

As they catch their breath from running Raven stands on her toes slightly, due to the fact that he basically hovers over her, and kisses him*

Laxus: Damn! That was amazing! Uh um lets get out of this rain my place isn't to far we could head there. Is that ok?

Raven: -Blushes- Yea that's fine with me.

*At Laxus' Home*

*His home was warm and cozy it wasn't huge but it was a comfortable size two bedrooms two bathrooms a well furnished living room and a medium sized kitchen*

Raven: Your home is beautiful.

Laxus: Thank you, I put a change of clothes in the bathroom in my room, there's also towels and any other toiletries in there so that you can take a shower and be more comfortable if you need me I'll be in the other bathroom taking a shower myself right next door in the spare room.

Raven: Thanks.

*Laxus smiles and walks to the other bedroom*

*After Raven's shower she puts on the plain black t -shirt and sweatpants Laxus left for her. Raven grabs an extra towel and starts drying her hair and brushing through it until she finally puts it up into a bun she heads over to Laxus' bed and sits on it and starts flipping through the channels on his TV lacroma.*

*15 minutes later*

*Laxus comes into his room with only a pair of sweatpants on drying his hair with a towel*

Laxus: Whatcha watching? - Sits on the  bed next to Raven*

Raven: Honestly I have no idea just flipping through channels tryna find something good to put on.

*After several minutes of searching through the channels they found something they could both agree on to watch*

Raven: I really had a great time tonight everything was amazing.

Laxus: I'm glad, I had a great time to! -He pulls her into his chest and wraps a blanket around them.-

*Raven then wraps her arms around his waist and falls asleep in his arms.

Laxus proceeds to turn off the lamp and TV and dozes off to sleep and holding her close feeling her warmth.*
