Never in a million years did I ever think I would be walking down the hallways of a Los Angeles High School. Let alone being super attractive to the point of even gaining the jealous attention of the boys. As I walk through the crowded hallways, all the girls keep staring at me, awestruck and murmuring to each other.

"Clarky! Wait!" Yelled a feminine voice from the other side of the hallway. I winced as I heard her, as I already knew who it was. Running straight at me, like a bull charging at a torero, was Daniela. It's not that I didn't like her, but I felt very uncomfortable receiving so much attention from her. All the attention I'd typically get from girls were pity or insults. I wasn't used to being called 'Clarky' or 'Babe'.

"Want to each lunch together Clarky? I'll lead you to the cafetorium. Brendt can't interfere in our new 'friendship' now" she said almost menacingly as she grabbed my hand to lead me.

"Um sure..." I replied, trying to focus my attention elsewhere, clearly uncomfortable with her presentation. She was wearing the shortest pair of short shorts I had ever seen in my life, along with a baby blue crop top that revealed the bottom curves of her lacy pink bra.

"That's where you're wrong" declared Brendt as he passed by. "He might not be my friend, but I'm pretty sure he deserves more than a cheap skank like you".

"cHeAp SkAnk?" She screamed, blowing her fuse, ready to slit his throat.

"Hey, hey, just ignore him" I reassured her and I patted her back. Instantly, Daniela's rage turned into a blushing schoolgirl giggle. I entered the cafetorium to reveal that all eyes were on me. I understand that I'm the new kid but surely the new kid doesn't get this much attention. Everyone was inviting me to eat lunch with them, only to recieve Daniela's death stare as a reply.

"Can I get a slice of pepperoni pizza with a Sprite please?" I asked the lunch lady, sporting a wide grin. As soon as I received my meal, I followed Daniela to her friend's table.

"Everyone, I want you to meet Clarky. He's my new bestie" she declared giggling as we approached the large circular table. All 5 of these girls were really pretty but none of them matched with Daniela. I recognized a familiar face within the group. Maddie, just staring at me. Uncomfortably, I sat down in between Daniela and Maddie.

"So tell us you're story Clark" asked a blonde girl shyly, playing with her hair

"Well... my name is Bartholomew Stane and I'm from Illinois" I told them.

"Sorry honey" said Daniela disgusted, "but there's no way you're going to be known as Bartholomew. That name is just so ugly for someone as hot as yourself. Clarky defines you more" .

"Ok... sure" I replied shyly. "So I guess my name is Clark Stane now. I'm 17 and I'm originally from Illinois". Suddenly, I was bombarded by questions

"How tall are you? Where do you live? Are you single? How much do you work out? Do you play sports?" Overwhelmed by so many questions, I stood up and excused myself from the table.

"I'm so sorry but I have to use the restroom. I'll be right back" I said hurriedly as I started to run out the door. I'm not sure if I deserve all this attention. Approaching the bathroom, the bell rang, indicating it was time to get back to class. I ran back to the cafetorium, hoping Daniela and her friends were gone. To my luck, the only person waiting for me was none other than Daniela.

"I'll walk you to your next class Clarky baby" she said as she grabbed my hand and pulled my out of the cafetorium to god knows where.

"Oh brother" I thought to myself as I entered the crowded hallways of Apple Valley High, holding hands with a slightly obsessive girl. "First day... what else do you have in store?"
