"What a fucking loser, he got what he deserved, he should've just sold the cigarettes and accepted mercy". I walked down the halls of Apple Valley High, 'disguised' as Clark, hearing all these things coming from different people. They were obviously talking about my embarrassing picture posted by Derek. As I walked into my classroom and sat down, Derek and his posse were surrounded by kids, all encouraging their cruelty towards me.
"I mean, the pig deserved it" said Derek grinning widely, obviously loving the attention.
"He's a fucking pig and he deserves to be treated like one... as a matter of fact, we're heading to the same 711 again tonight to punish him more" declared Brendt, taking pride in his words.
"More? What else would they want to do to me?", I thought fearfully, "haven't they done enough?" I decided to ignore them and not stand up for myself, as I might get made fun of for defending 'worthless' people. I tried my best to ignore and I prevailed for about 30 minutes until Derek said something that absolutely made me snap.
"If he's a piggy, I bet his moms a pig too. I ought to get naked pictures of them both" said Derek triumphantly as the whole classroom laughed.
"That's not funny" I said as I rose up, without a trace of fear in my body. "You guys have gone to far". There was absolute silence in the room as everyone started directly at me, wondering if I was going to incite a fight between Derek and Brendt. Even Brendt was awestruck, as no one had ever previously had the audacity to stand up to him. After a while, Brendt shrugged as stood up.
"Hey asshole," he said as he kicked his table out of the way to stand directly in front of me, "we were just joking". Compared to me, Brendt seemed so small and frail, although he looked way more experienced in fighting and had the same body type as me.
"First you steal my girl and now you embarrass me?!? Now you're going to get it motherfucker!!!"
