"We normally don't have this many visitors, but she has insisted on having you all there with her." She gives us a small smile after we're all going inside now.
She sits up, and no one said anything. Not even her.
"Hey," I say. She smiles at me with relief, her smile. She looks back at her friends, then at me.
"We had to tell him," Maddy says
She nods, "I get it." She cleared her throat, "And, I'm sorry."
"Who are you saying sorry to?" Noel asked he's annoyed. He looks annoyed, and I know Atlas can see that.
"I-I"
"You don't have to explain yourself." Brandon interrupted her, "Have you said anything to the doctor."
"No..." She shook my head, "All I remember is Maddy and Noel in the room."
Maddy then explains the lie she told the paramedics and to the doctors, Atlas was just blank. She didn't show any emotions, and I see Noel and Brandon stand up, and I begin to follow them.
"Give her a break, man," Brandon tells Noel.
Noel nods, "I want her to get better." He looks at both of us, "When things get bad she doesn't need to run off with that piece of shit, and so drugs."
"But everything was okay."
"Yeah," I frown, "She was happy."
"Something triggered her." Brandon simply said, "I shouldn't have told her to come tonight."
Maddy appears, she gives me a tight smile, "Atlas wants to talk to you." She tells me, "Give her time, please." she says.
I nod, before I go inside her room, I took in a deep breath, and I see her lying there, watching the TV until her eyes shot over to look at me... She gives me a tight smile before it disappears.
"I didn't know you'd be here..."
I nod, "How are you feeling?"
She rolled her eyes, "I'm an idiot..."
"You're not an idiot," I say truthfully, I just didn't know what else to tell her.
"I am. I mean, I got myself in this mess, again. This is my second overdose."
I frown, I look down, before I sit next to her, "Have you called your mom?"
She shook her head, "My mom is out of town... my dad is dead." She sighs, wiping her tear, "Besides, it wouldn't matter if my mom knew or not."
I slowly grab her hand, she slowly intertwines our fingers together, took in a deep breath.
"I know what you're thinking." She starts.
I shook my heads, "No you don't."
She nods, "You don't know me."
"I only met you 6 days ago." I answer her, "You don't have to tell me everything, I know that." She didn't say anything.
