The Beowolf struggled against the chains but I knew that it was a pointless struggle, as those chains are indistractable as long as I don't use my other summoner and focus all my aura on keeping them active. I walked over and grabbed my sword I had tossed away. I turned and looked at the class and then to the Professor, " Sir, do I have to kill it?" He gave me a slight nod and I moved my body like clockwork towards the Grimm's head. By this time it had given up on trying to fight for it's freedom. It just waited. Waiting for it's end. I got onto my knees and stared at its face. I have always like them. Grimm I mean. They have always interested me. Maybe it's because of my semblance. "Hurry up, Emily. We don't have all day." The professor shouted so that I could hear him over the loud breathing of the Grimm. I sighed. "Yes, sir." I placed my hand on it's neck, it flinched. How many battles his it been in to have learnt when it's time was close to an end. I stroked it and slowly bent down towards its ear. It immedantaly became restless again.
I was ready to jump in there and help her but Weiss grabbed my arm to stop me. "Weiss let me go." I whined. "No, Ruby. can't you see she's in the middle of her battle? And you know that were not allowed to interfere!" She gave me a cold stare. I glanced at Emily who seemed to be whispering into the angered Grimm's ear. "What happens," I said, " if it tried to kill her what would we do then?" Weiss sighed, "Ruby you dult. Can't you see that you don't have a weapon. What can a defenceless child like you do to help her?" "Live bait." "What did you just say?" She asked me. "Nothing," I looked away nervously. She sighed again, " let's just watch..." Weiss pause, "Ruby?" I turned towards her, "what is it Weiss?" "Wasn't that Grimm really mad just a second ago?" I turn to the battle scene. Emily was slowly sitting back and the Grimm that look like it was on the break of insanity was calmly laying on the ground the chains on him were slowly fading but it made no move to attack instead it just stared at Emily and she smiled at it. She slowly and steady got up and patted it's head and said."that's a good boy." I stared in disbelief what in the world is going on?
I took a deep breath and raised my sword above the Grimm's head. I spoke quietly and quickly under my breath so that only the Grimm could hear me and when I was done I made my attack, my final attack. With that the Grimm slowly faded away into the morning light that shone through the windows of the classroom.
"Good work, Emily," The Professor said, "Now please return to your seat and we will continue with the lesson." With those words the bell whet signalling the end of the first lesson. The professor sighed and said, "your dismissed." I watched as all the students ran past me to get out. I tried moving to the side but I just fell over. This school is dangerous. "Need a hand," I looked up, it was Ruby. "I think I do," as she helped me up her teammates walked up behind her. "Hi," I said, they all said hi back. I smiled and then asked as an open question. "So do you guys know were my next class is because I have no idea!"
