Never see you when I'm prepared,
Only when my hair is wrapped up,
Or I'm hot from working out.
And when I do see you,
It's such a shock to my system
That I can't help but stare,
Even though I know
Your gaze is like a drug to me,
And that when we lock eyes,
I'm deep under.
And when you leave,
I wonder
If it was all in my head,
But the mark you leave on my mind
Says otherwise.
And it feels like my scarf
Is the only thing keeping you with me.
And I'm no longer hot from exercise.
Oh, no.
Now,
The cause is your eyes.
