This is entirely my opinion and the movie might be good...

Oh MY god. DO I HAVE ALOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE! and this will be my first positive review so YAY! start with the terrible begin round two with the good! But before I start this review all i want to say is if you haven't watched this movie yet.. go do it! its an tear dripping journey and when I first saw this I actually cried... so as it says above I will keep this spoiler free! Because hell is this a movie worth watching! so lets get started shall we?
(and keep in mind the summary of the plot is very short compared to my previous review. This is to keep it as clean and spoiler free.)

"The famous country singer Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper.) enters a drag bar after an incredible gig with his band. There he meets the Beautiful bar singer Ally Campana (Lady Gaga). Jack seems fascinated by her talent and offers her a chance to sing with him on stage. A strong bond is born between them as He finally convinces her to go up on stage and show the world her talent and she becomes an worldwide sensation! But as Ally's fame grows more and more. Jacks drinking problem and depression only gets worse and worse... can alcohol really destroy the pure and beautiful bond that Ally and Jack has built up?
When I first entered the theater I was kind of sceptic about a 3rd remake of the same story. Yes A star is born has been remade three times. 2 of them I have actually seen and idk maybe i'll review the original sometime! But just WOW did this movie suprise me! Incredible soundtrack, well developed characters and of course my favorite part. the story. So there for I am going to break it down into 3 sections and of course. Keep it as spoiler free as I possibly can!
The story is well executed and doesn't feel too focused on repeating the same old story from the past. It did have some elements from the original but they executed them in such an unique and different way that it makes it something beyond a remake. There was also close to no filler in the movie which almost makes every scene seem important and have some small/big affects on how the story is going to develop and end. Bradley Cooper and Lady gaga did an astonishing job at retelling this beloved story and Being able to feel and see the bond these two share is an remarkable and great feeling that will always stick with me whenever I get to see this movie again. The story feels real, alive and it drags you in and makes you feel like you know them.
Okay I am not gonna lie about this but I am in love with this movies soundtrack. (Like literally!) Every song feels so meaningful and has a deep impact on the story and every single song shows Jacks strong admiration and love for music and its pretty obvious that both Bradley Cooper and lady gaga put their times effort into making every song unique and appealing for everybody. Either its rap or rock... its for everybody which is a style that I like. I like the idea that they influence different types of genre's to give everyone a piece and not make every song feel heavily focused on the other. For example:
"what do you do that? -Rap/modern age pop"
"Alibi-Rock."
"Never love again-Ballad."
What I mean is that every song feels like a love letter to every type of person. You like rap? Well why you do that is perfect for you then! And that is why I LOVEEE the soundtrack. its pleasing, its catchy, its good and its for everyone... Halle fucking lujah!
The characters as a whole felt realistic and pulled off emotional scenes pretty flawlessly! Bradley Cooper was an excellent actor for an drunk, drug addicted country singer. And Lady Gaga's acting was spot on in my opinion. And there are a few movies I have seen that have this "close bond" type of feel and I wish hollywood would seriously make more of these type of movies instead of dumpster diving cliches here and there. Anyway I am getting offtrack so lets return to the subject.
Jack:
Jack (Bradley cooper) is this movies main protagonist. hes an alcoholic country rock singer. he is also usually very sarcastic and calm and rarely gets mad at people no matter how much they piss him off. Bradley Cooper also portrays his drunk side very well.
Ally: Ally (Lady Gaga.) is the movies 2nd protagonist and if I gotta be honest she is the more important character then jack due to her value in the story. as you can tell the star the movie refers too is ally therefor making her a tid bit more important then Jack. but either way they both play a major role of the story and that includes their bond and the arguments that occurs during the movie.

In conclusion. A star is born is a fantastic movie with alot off not only effort, but heart put into it. and I highly recommend you go see it now. Everything from the songs to the character development to the god damn directing makes this movie outstanding in both quality and its a experience best seen in cinemas. (I don't know if they still air it in theaters) but either way Its a very good movie which i . highly recommend you go watch if you are into movies like Titanic.
