When I woke up I slipped on my blue skinny jeans and a gray t-shirt. I put my hair in a messy bun and put on my black converse. The smell of pancakes summons me down to the kitchen. Claire greeted me with a big hug and a slobbery kiss. She is two and a half and can say simple words like mama dada more and stuff like that.
"Good morning Alana." Mom greats me as I swing Claire in circles as she giggles like crazy.
"Good morning mom. Good morning dad" I say.
I quickly scarf down the pancake because I notice my two best friends Brianna and Lauren approach the door.
"Hellooo Donaldson family!!!" That's how Brianna greets us every morning.
"Good morning girls! Breakfast?" Mom asks politely.
"No thanks Mrs.D." Lauren says. "Heyyyy Mr.D. How's it goin?" Lauren asks my dad.
"Good thanks how 'bout you?" Dad replied.
"Good. Ok Alana we gotta go!" Lauren shouts.
"I'm coming I'm coming." I reply.
We head out the door shutting out Claire's squealing. Now we are off to school for a bother normal day.
