The next morning I walked downstairs for breakfast. My dad handed me a snowflake mug with my favorite coffee already mixed with the French vanilla creamer and sugar.
"Good morning sweetie." He greeted me as I took a sip of my coffee.
"Good morning dad."
"I know for the past few days I have been saying all of this sappy love stuff to you but I just want you to know that I love and care about you very much and no matter what happens you feel the same way about me not as a friend but as your father." Dad said while a tear streamed down his face. That was the first time I saw my dad cry so I started tearing up while hugging him tightly. "I love you too daddy." I replied. then I walked out the door to go to school. When I got to first period the office called me down. What does my dad want this time? I opened the door to the office expecting to see my dad with his arms out wide but instead it was my mom. She was crying.
