After a long month of nothing but research from the department, we were entirely lost. "We can't find anything," Harvey said quietly, seeming quite frustrated. David put his hand on Harvey's shoulder reassuringly.

"We looked through all the files in the department, but we can't find anything new," Lake continued, looking at Harvey with a concerned look on his stoic face.

"The library is bound to have information," I said excitedly, "We should go there! But we need someone here, just in case if the Phoenix makes a move." David raised his hand from Harvey's shoulder, volunteering wordlessly.

"David, are you sure? You're not experienced enough--" Lake raised his hand rapidly.

"Brother Bradley, doll--" "Lake," he corrected. "Lake," I continued, "You've got a sermon to teach tomorrow, are you sure you should go and do this late at night?"

He scoffed, surprising me. "I honestly don't care about the church sermon right now; I want to make sure Mr. Stocke here is going to be okay. You two lovebirds," he pointed at Harvey and I, "..go to the library." He smiled at Harvey's flushed face. "Don't worry; we'll be fine."
