Chapter 8

Jake's POV

I was really upset when Carly started to ignore me. I heard a knock on the door and heard my dad say "MAX!"

I heard voices and footsteps go into his room. I heard voices but then It got silent. I wheeled over to his room and open the door. Max was kissing a girl.

"Oh sor--Carly?!" I can't believe it! My brother always did this to me!

"Jake it's not my fault! Max-" Carly tried to say but I cut her off.

"You should have just told me you liked my brother!" I wheeled out of the room and torword my room but I was stopped. I looked over my shoulder and saw Carly.

"Jake listen," she said, "I came over here to talk to you but when you dad answered the door he called for Max not you and Max took me to his room and kissed me."

"You could have pushed him off if you!" I said

"Maybe... If I had 2 arms!" I forgot! She broke her arm! but then I looked at her and didn't see no cast. She was wearing a long sleeve shirt.

"Where's you cast?" I asked her.

"You don't need a cast if you don't have an arm." she hit her left sleeve but hit nothing. "it was amputated, that's why I didn't talk to you for a week." she said.

"Tell me what happened!" I said.

"I will but can we go to my house?" She asked me.

"Yeah." I told her.

"Dad I'm leaving!" I said as I wheeled out of the door with Carly.

"Okay tell me why your arm was chopped off!" I said to Carly.

"So, do you remember that guy that punched me? Well when I was on way home from your place when i was pushed off my board and I landed on my arm. He just kicked me and kicked me until I got up and ran home." She told me.

"What a b**** I'm gonna beat his f***ing a** next time I see him!" I yelled.

"Good luck with that! And don't tell anyone about how this happened okay?" she said.

"Okay!" (TFIOS)

We got to her house and she held the door open for me.

"Thanks!" I told her and she nodded.

"Carly! Where were you?" a voice from the living room said.

Carly's POV

Uh oh!

"Umm I went over to Jakes." I said.

"Can I talk to you in your room?" It was Adam

"Umm sureeeeeeee......" I said and walked to my room.

"What were you thinking!" Adam said.

"I wasn't I didn't think you'd worry!" I yelled.

"Don't yell at me! I'm the adult! You need to tell me where you going and when your coming back and you need to wait to see if it's okay with me if you go!!" he yelled at me.

"I'm sorry Adam." I whispered.

"Yeah well sorry isn't gonna cut it. Your grounded! Go tell Jake bye!" he said.

"Let me walk him home! If he tips over or something in his wheelchair he won't have any help!" I said

"Okay but be fast!" he said.

I ran out of my room and told Jake we had to go and I walked him home.

Ty's POV

When Carly got home Adam needed to talk to her in her room. When they left Jake looked scared.

"So Jake...." Jerome said, "Did Carly tell you why her arm was amputated?"

"Yeah she did." he said

"Can you tell us?" Ian asked.

"No I promised her."

"Please she won't tell us!" Mitch pleaded

"Okay fine......" and he told is everything. Everyone looked super angry and then Carly came down and her and Jake left.

I wonder what Adam will say when we tell him this.
