An author Sue Lawson came in to talk to us today about creative writing and she said when we start creative writing we tend to knock our ideas down and by the end of the so called 'brainstorming' you are strung up into a big ball of tension. Her words were "Narratives are never perfect" you have to draft and draft until you can get it presentable enough to show to others. One of her stories she edited 12 times before she sent it off to the publishers. So relax.
Another thing that should never happen in writing. After the five minutes of brainstorming you should have words on your page. A blank page is something that should be reserved for confusing math or boring humanities.
Anyway so thats the stuff she talked to us about today and whether anyone reads this or not I don't care because wrote this so that I would remember not for the benefits of others. If it does benefit you and you can understand all this crap I've been spurting out then good for you and I hope you are able to gain from it.
Cassie over and out. Cya
