Louis doesn't speak with Harry for the next couple of weeks. Zayn calmly tells him that maybe he should answer Harry's call or texts, but that's the thing. There aren't any. Harry's shunned Louis off like he's of the least bit importance.
"I can't keep staying here and comforting you while you cry, Lou. Don't get me wrong, I love you and all, but I've got a life."
"Are you saying I don't?" Louis eyes narrow at Zayn, who raises his hands in defence.
"I don't mean that. It's just... Maybe you should think about telling the other boys. Not Harry, of course, but Niall and Liam. You'd have two new shoulders to cry on and I'm sure they'd like to know."
If looks could kill, Zayn'd be dead by now. "Right, sure, that'll totally work." Louis shakes his head. "Liam will end up telling Harry and Niall will eat all of my food and make me and baby starve to death. I don't think so, Zayn."
"Well I'm calling them and inviting them over tonight." Louis opens his mouth to say something, but Zayn shushes him. "You don't have to tell them anything. It's just while I go out for a bit."
Louis crinkles his nose. "Are you going to bring some random girl home and have sex?" He questions, rather blunt.
"If all goes well, then, yeah." Zayn winks, pulling out his phone and calling Niall and Liam. Louis stares at his stomach while he does.
It's not huge, or at least not as huge as Louis thinks it is. All he ever wears now is hoodies and oversized t-shirts. During his weaker moments, he finds himself in one of Harry's shirts, smelling it and not even caring that it shows off his bump. He isn't trying to impress anybody. Especially not Zayn.
Still, it makes Louis a bit uncomfortable that he's getting fatter. Though the Harry situation is pushed to the side, (for now) he still doesn't like that he can't fit into his extremely skinny jeans or tight shirts. His body just wouldn't allow it.
Not to mention he peed every five minutes it seemed like. Zayn made sure to bug him about it, too. He'd make snide remarks about how 'this is the second roll you've gone through in a week, Lou' and things like that. It got under Louis' skin more than anything. At least Harry had never brought it up.
"They said they'll be here in a few. Now, be good and don't get into any trouble." Zayn says, almost in a parenting sort of tone.
"Just like to say m'not a child." Louis mumbles.
Zayn ruffles his hair, smiling. "Atta boy!" he says, grabbing a few items and heading out the door.
Louis hopes that Niall and Liam get there soon. He doesn't like being by himself for a long period of time. It leads to thinking, and with all the things on Louis' mind right now, thinking is an absolutely terrible idea. Thoughts of the baby, Harry, his next doctor's appointment, and whatever else filled his mind. There were too many things to even try to think about.
Luckily, before he can get too wrapped up in his web of thoughts, there is a knock on the door. Louis stands up from the couch, opening the door and revealing two of his best mates. He's crushed into hugs, and urgently says 'not too hard!' causing them to break away.
"Everything alright, Lou?" Liam asks, giving him those innocent puppy dog eyes that he's so good at.
"No, everything's absolute shit, thanks for asking."
Liam's obviously surprised by his answer. He allows himself into Louis' (it's really Zayn's. Louis's just staying there for now.) flat, Niall following him in.
"We have a lot to talk about." Niall claims, looking pointedly at Louis. "Such as why you're not living with Harry any longer. Did Larry have a fallout?"
