Chapter One

knock knock "Mommy?"

knock knock "Momma?"

knock knock "Mommy?"

I slowly open my eyes to see the light fully shining through the window.

"Yes?"

"I... I'm hungry and it's morning."

"What?" I hurry and sit up to see the red glowing numbers read 10:09. I run and open the door to see Gwen standing there.

"Oh sweety I am so sorry. Mommy had a late night last night. What do you want for breakfast?"

"I want chocowate pancakes, with peanut butter."

"Peanut butter?"

"Peanut butter." She said with her toothless smile. "Okay then pancakes and peanut butter it is."

"Chocowate pancakes."

"Right."

I grab her hand and we walk down the hallway together. "Is your brother up yet?"

"No momma." 

"Okay, Well lets go wake him."

We go to  door that says "KEEP OUT". I slowly open the door to see Jamie sprawled across his bed. I look at Gwen. "Go and gently wake your brother." She then skips to his bed and shakes his shoulder lightly.

"Jamie."

"Mmmm, What Gwen?"

"Mommy and me are making chocwate pancakes."

"Ok, I'll be out in a bit."

"Okay."

Gwen skips back to me with her bleach blonde curls bouncing up and down. I grab her hand again and we walk to the kitchen. When we get there I pick her up and sit her on the counter.

"Okay, Do you want chocolate pancakes or chocolate chip pancakes?"

"Chocwate chip."

"Okay then. Chocolate chip it is."

I grab a bowl from the cabinet an a cup from the dishwasher. I set the bowl down and open the fridge to fill the cup up with orange juice. I hand the cup to Gwen and start mixing the pancake mix. That's when Jamie walks in and make a glass of orange juice for himself.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."

"Ughh, Mom we went over this. I'm a doctor/ Hunter/ Detective."

"Oh, right. My bad my little superwholock."  Man I am an awesome mother. *Mentaly high five myself*

"Yeah." He goes and sits on the couch and starts watching the last recording of Supernatural.

I put a pan on to heat up and I finish mixing the pancake mix. When Gwen says "Mommy you forgot the chocwate chips." Crap "Okay sweety." Man she is the cutest thing. I mix the chocolate chips in the mix and pour the batter into four mini pancakes, then four bigger pancakes. I grab Gwen, set her on the couch, grab her cup and fill it up again with orange juice. Then go back to finish the pancakes.

"Thank you mommy."

"Thanks Mom."

"You're welcome guys."

I go to sit on the couch but before I can get there. Kock knock. Crap.

I walk over to the door and open it to see a pair of brown eyes looking up at me.

"Hey Tommy."

"Hi Ms. Olive. Is Jamie awake?"

"Yes he is. I just made some pancakes do you want some?"

"No thanks, I already ate."

"Okay well he's on the couch watching supernatural."

"Cool."

Tommy walks over to Jamie and sits on the couch and I go to the table to finish the work I was doing last night.

After a few episodes of Supernatural and Doctor Who I finish my work and go turn off the tv.

"Okay guys, What do ya'll wanna do today?"

*silence* "Do ya'll wanna go to the park?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay then lets get dressed. Jamie you can dress your self and Gwen you can come with mommy. Oh Tommy make sure Jamie matches."

"Yes Ma'am."

I pick up Gwen and take her to her room. I toss her on the bed and she sits up giggling.

"Okay lets see what to wear. Well, there's ... Um." Man i didnt realize that the only colors in her closet is white, green and blue, and most of them are the little mermaid.

"I wanna wear that one." She points to the pastel drawing of Ariel. I grab the shirt and some white shorts and black vans.

"Grab some underwear and socks."

"Okay mommy."

I get her dressed and head to my room to throw on some shorts and a t- shirt.

I pack a bag with some snacks and drinks and grab the kids.

"Okay guys off we go."
