"Ok guys, let's get ready to see Nana." I say as soon as I close the front door.
"Ok we are starting innnn....." I hold the n for a few seconds to add suspense. "Jamie's room."
Jamie quickly runs to his room. Slams the door. Without a word. Ok, that's weird. I start toward his door but he opens it and runs to the kitchen with something under his shirt. now I know what's going on. I try to run to catch him but he throws it away before I can see what it is.
"Ok Jamie, what was under your shirt?" I say
"Nothing." Mmhm
"Ok, you have three seconds to tell me what was under your shirt if you want Oliver to come over this week."
He looks at me and squints his eyes. I do the same."One..... Two...."
"Ok Mom, I had some Twinkie wrappers in my room and I was just throwing them away." Ha I win.
"Now let's get started on your room. Pick three shirts and three shorts. Oh, and three pairs of socks and underwear. Ok?"
"Ok." He says. I grab his duffle and set it on his bed. "Make sure they are folded, please."
He shakes his head and I head to Gwen's room. When I walk in she is jumping on her bed and she hurriedly stops. I lift my eyebrow, and say "Were you just jumping on your bed?"
She smiles that toothless smile and says "Nooo momma."
"Mmhmm. Ok girlie, what do you wanna wear at Nana's?"
"I don't know momma. Ariel!!"
"Ok. Ok. Well let's see..." I grab three of her favorite Ariel shirts and some white, blue, and black shorts. Some underwear and socks. Oh, yeah she needs shoes. I grab her back and white vans and throw them on her bag.
"Ok Gwen, do you wanna take the Ariel suitcase or the princess suitcase?"
"Ariel!" How did I know.
I pile everything into the suit case and off to Jamie's room. He better have everything packed.
Like always, he did, so we get to head out early. I grab some goldfish bags and a couple movies, and we head out.
"Ok, Jamie do you want to sit in the front or sit in the back and watch a movie?" I say to Jamie as he is about to hop in the front.
He pauses for a second then closes the door and hops in the back.
"Okay then. Are you guys ready?" I get two nods and silence.
Right well i guess i will have alot of time to think about stuff. What kind of stuff? Ha. I have no clue. So for now i am just going to listen to the movie and wait for the fighting to start.

For some random reason Liam and Oliver pop into my head. Espeacially Liam. I dont know what is wrong with me. I haven't thought of a male companian since Gwen and Jamie's father.
I sometimes think of him.... but then I quickly shut that down because I can't deal with that. Not after what all I have accomplished in theses short four years.
Okay, no more thinking. think about something else like Liam's smile. Yeah, His smile....
---------------------------------------
Before no time i am pulling into my mothers neighborhood. I weave through the streets and finally arrive at here house. I pull into her drive way and sit there for a few seconds, the i turn around to see if the kids are still awake. Neither of them are. Great. I carefully get out of the car and run up to the porch. I stretch my hand out to knock and my mom opens the door before my knuckles even touch the door.
"Hey sweetie, How are you?"
"I'm fine mom, How are you?"
"Oh I'm doing better. Where are the kids?"
"Oh they are sleeping. Wanna help?" A smmile creeps across her face, but i can tell behind it is pain, and that smile of hers is forced just to make me not want to question her stabillity.
We walk to the car, she goes to Gwen's side and I go to Jamie's.
"Are yall going to stay in Lilly's room or are you going to sleep on the couch?"
I feel an ache in my chest when she says her name.
"We'll sleep on the couches. It's ok, Mom."
I see her face sink a little. "Ok sweetie. I'll put Gwen on the air matress, and come back to get the bags." This time she manages a small smile.
"Ok, thank you mom." I smile back. She gently unbuckles Gwen seat belt and carries her inside. I start on Jamie.
I get the seat belt off of him, and I am almost to the door when he wakes.
"Ok mom. I can walk by myself."
He wiggles out of my grip and marches up the steps without a word to me or his Nana.
"Excuse me, Master Jamie. Can you at least tell Nana "hi". Or is that too much to ask?"
"Hey Nana." Jamie says with his head down.
"Hey Jamie, Gwen is laying down on the air matress in the 2nd living room and you know where the blankets are. Sweet dreams."
"Night Nana. Night mom."
"Goodnight Jamie." I say with a smile and with that he disappears through the front door. Now just get the rest of the bags and go to bed, Hopefully.
"Hey sweetie, are you going to bed right now?"
"Yeah mom , I was hoping. Why?"
"I was going to see if I could talk to you over a cup of coffee, but I'll wait till morning you look tired."
"Thank you mom, I love you." I say with a small smile.
"I love you too, sweets."
Ok now I can try to get some sleep. When I walk inside I hear my mom go up stairs to her room. I set all of the bags down and plop on the couch. I guess this will do for now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm twisting and turning. Constantly moving the whole night, and at one point I could have sworn I saw her. Like I always do when I stay here. She is always here. Never there when I need her. Just stuck here. I call out to her,but she doesn't see me.
"LILLY!!!!!" Then she's gone again, and I'm back on my mom's couch. Once I realize I'm no longer in a dream I sit up and head to the kitchen.
