~Anduin ~
Lonely and tiresome was the young king, the burdens of taking his fathers place as king weighed heavily upon his shoulders. To gain the kingdom from the tragic yet heroic death of his father Varian Wrynn left the young man feeling sorrowful and doubtful of his ability to run his fathers kingdom.
His father left a grand legacy behind him, the expectations of living up to the Wrynn name. Anduin felt lost without his father but was handling ruling the kingdom well. He contributed well to the Alliance so far with the helping hand of King Greymane.
Anduin sat upon the grand throne looking down the steps of the keep. His eyes wandered aimlessly as he thought of the current events between the everlasting war between the Alliance and the Horde. There was too much unnecessary bloodshed in his opinion, too many innocent lives lost in what was starting to seem as the never ending conflict between the two factions. He was grateful with the help of the loyal members of the Alliance but he couldn't help but feel alone fighting a up hill battle with no end in sight.
The young king let out a long sigh as he stood from his throne ready to get back to his duties. Slowly he descended down the stairs to the war room. It was crawling with nobles and a few trusted members of the alliance. He was asked earlier in the day to meet with these nobles.
He knew why he was there it was no secret. Being a young king at war was problematic for the people of Stormwind, If he should be struck down or physically unfit to rule the kingdom due to the war there needed to be and heir to pass the throne of Stormwind on to.
He thought it was a ridiculous thing to court a lady in a time of war he simply didn't have the time due to taking care of his forces and the endless reports of constant battles happening all over Azeroth. But the young king was intelligent and understood the need for an heir and the important of one, hence why he pressed further into the war room awaiting the plans the house of nobles had for him.
