As soon as the last period bell rang, I threw my bag over my shoulder, pulled up my hood, put my ear buds in, and put on my favorite band, (Black Veil Brides). I'm the type of girl that looks to music for comfort. Music has saved my life. My bands are the only thing I have anymore, and they're all I need. Andy is my inspiration.. my saviour. I always look to their music when I feel like this, which lately is all the time. I find meaning, healing, and so many more things through their lyrics, and Andy's voice of course. His deep soothing voice, his heart piercing crystal blue/grey eyes, and his warm enlightening smile have changed my life forever. Andy, this whole band, has changed my life.. They saved me.
I walked up the front steps to my father's house, I quietly opened the door just enough to slip through, shut it gently, and walked on back to my room. I shut my bedroom door, threw my bag on the ground, and sat on the edge of the bed.
As my head hang low looking at my thigh gap and all the scars and fresh, widely opened wounds that peaked through the rips in my black jeans and the sleeves of my hoodie, I couldn't help but think to myself how utterly disgusting I was.
"I am such a disappointment", I thought to myself. "You can never do anything right. Nobody likes you, nobody even cares. Why didn't any of the chances you took to end it all work? Why? Why me, why this?"
All of the thoughts that ran through my mind were disturbed by the sudden vibration of my cell phone. Taking one ear bud out and picking up my phone only to see the name of my true love on the screen, I opened up the message that read "Hey baby girl, how was your day my love?"
I quickly answered back, "Shitty as usual baby, but its all good now that I have you. How was yours my love?"
My phone lit up again, "What happened this time sweetheart?"
"Just the usual, everyday thing babe. I just hate it all so much... I wish you were here :(", I responded.
"Soon okay my love? We'll be together soon, I promise. Just don't do anything okay baby? You have to keep your promise."
