"w-why would you ask such question?" jin frowned while rubbing his nape nervously. he looked at chaesoo like he wanted to end her life there.

"heyy, don't be so serious, i just ask a simple question!" chaesoo laughed loudly seeing a panic seokjin. she slammed the table a few times and wiped her tears from the corner of her eyes.

"seriously, chae? which freak will ask such an idiot question at like fucking 12 midnight, huhh?" jin snapped at her and shot daggers to her.

"whoa, whoa, chill! it just so funny seeing you getting serious and all" chae flashed her contagious smile.

"whatever. but actually, why all sudden?" jin cocked his eyebrows towards the girl. suddenly, chaesoo face change 180°. she quickly looked down and fiddled her fingers nervously.

"uh, um... jin, do you really think ghost is a bad thing?" she mumbled quietly but still can be heard by seokjin. then, she darted her eyes to seokjin. looking straight at her eyes, he knows, her eyes were filled with mixed emotions and untold stories.

"well, i would say typically people would think they're bad of course but, for me, if they don't disturb me then why would i hate them?" jin shrugged and give chaesoo a assuring smile. she just still looked down and continue fiddling with her fingers.

"hey, what's wrong?" jin tilted his head and peek at her whose face is covered with her strands of hair as she looked down.

"i'm just wondering jin, why would people think that ghost is bad thing? are they really a bad thing, huh?" jin shutted his mouth to continue hear what she is going to say.

"well, if they're still in here, the real life, then, that means they're not in peace. so they need to search what they need to finish, right? do you think they really want to stay in this shitty world? hell no! but what if they absolutely have no clue what to finish that makes them still lurking in the here? still wanna say they're should fucking figure out and go away? and still continue with that typical mind-set, ghost is fucking bad? urgh im so-" chaesoo rants was cut-off by seokjin who suddenly hugged her and rubbed her back.

she was taken aback and just froze there a few seconds before bursting out in tears. she then, hugged jin back, tighter.

"there, there. i got you, okay?" jin continued rubbing circles on her back and slowly patting it. that makes chaesoo sobbed louder and more tears flowing on her pink-tinted cheeks.

"j-jin... i don't know wh-what to do.." chaesoo sobbed quietly and looked at jin with her swollen eyes.

"what do you mean by you don't know what to do, chae?" jin stared at her with confusion written all over his face but he still holding her shoulder firmly to give her strength.

"b-but you won't believe me if i-i tell you..." chaesoo looked at jin with eyes full of worries.

"why would i? i will always believe in you chae-ah" jin cupped her cheeks and smiled cutely which make chaesoo melt a bit inside, but quickly snapped out of it.

"no, this is really serious! like... reaaally serious!" chaesoo quickly moved his hand away from her face. she totally stopped crying and look at jin straight in the eyes. chaesoo enlarged her eyes to show seokjin her seriousness.

"hmm..." jin moved his hands and ruffled his hair. he was afraid too. he really wanted to always be by chaesoo side. he was comfortable with her from the very first he would say. but what if the truth will tore them apart?

"well, actually i want to tell you tha-" chaesoo words were cut-off by the bell ringing on the door ringing. a customer come in with a tired face.

"hold on" jin stand up and went to the counter. the customer took a cigarette from the shelf and pay it. before he goes he turned to seokjin with a curious face.

"sir?"

"yes?"

"am i just seeing things or you really talk by yourself?"

"i-i what?"
