"i'm glad that fate brought us here together again" he rubbed his nape and his lips curved upwards.

"me too jin, me too" chaesoo nodded.

then, silence filled the atmosphere to let both of them calm themselves from many shocking events recently.

"jin, do you know what's going to happen now?" chaesoo's voice broke the silence.

"hmm, what do you mean?" jin furrowed his eyebrows.

"all things have been settled, meaning, it's time for me to go now" chaesoo smiled bitterly and sighed.

"b- but, can't you stay?" jin turned fully facing her with worry painted across his face.

"no, of course i can't. this is not my place, jin" chaesoo explained.

"do you know when?"

"i'm not really sure"

again, both of them were silent.

"but, jin, lets just pretend we don't know that i need to go very soon. instead, lets spend our time together" chaesoo said cheekily.

"just like the old days?" jin asked, unsure.

"just like the old days" chaesoo nodded aggresively, like usual.

"LETS GO!!" both of them cheered and jumped from the sofa.

"so, firstly we need to go here first" chaesoo walked side to side with jin while showing the direction.

"where?" jin questioned and scratched his head.

"ah seriously jin? you're so slow" chaesoo showed her tounge and giggled.

"how disrespectful!" jin started to chase chaesoo and they were running until they reached somewhere familiar.

"huh, thank god i provoked you. look! we've arrived!" chaesoo said while panting.

"really?" jin scanned the suroundings and finally he realize where are they.

they are at the park, where they usually met before. the park is still the same, with kids playing at the playground, benches where couples seat and the same ice cream truck from past years.

"woaaa! the ice cream truck is still there! look, chae noona!" jin said excitedly.

"shhh, be quiet you brat! only you can see me, did you forget already?" chaesoo remind him and both of them burst of laughing.

"yea yeah, whatever. come i wanna some ice cream" jin started heading to the ice cream truck.

"yes, what would you like sir?" the boy at the truck asked jin with a smile.

"hmm, what about cookies and cream" jin replied while glancing at chaesoo at his side. chaesoo cheered silently and flashed her gummy smile, satisfied wth his choice.

"alright, right in a minute sir" the boy receive the money and gets the ice cream ready.

while waiting jin turned to chaesoo. he could see she waited for him at one of the bench as she waved dramatically at him. jin just shooked his head and chuckled.

"here you go sir" the boy hand jin the ice cream he ordered.

"thanks"

jin sat next to chaesoo and waved the ice cream in front of her.

"duh, you did that on purpose right?" chaesoo rolled her eyes.

"of course!" jin laughed and continue eating the ice cream until it's finished.

they spent their time from morning until night enjoying their last moments together. most of it were they redoing what they have done before and laughing out load remebering how childish is was. by night, they returned home.

"ohhh godd, today was reaaaally exhausting!" chaesoo groaned and streched.

"but, it's worth it" jin replied and lie on the sofa.

but, no one response to him. he forrowed his eyebrows and gets up.

"chaesoo? chaesoo?" jin scanned his apartment to search for her. he didn't found anything.

"j-jin, i'm here" chaesoo waved weakly at him and smiled softly.

"why can't i see you clearly? it's blurry" jin stated and rubbed his eyes.

"no, it's not your fault. it just-" chaesoo stopped and inhale a deep breath.

"-it's already time, i think" chaesoo stared at the floor. slowly, jin could see tears trickled down her rosy cheeks.

"o-oh..." jin was speechless. he felt like it just yesterday when he first met her again.

kang chaesoo is really someone important in his life. she changed his dull and dark life onto a shiny and brighter one. he's so grateful she entered his life, even if it's only for a while. he's also grateful that he's given a second chance to cherish her. now, it's time for god to take her to a better place. jin's ready to let her go.

"it's okay, i believe you're going to a better place" jin smiled and chaesoo wiped her tear and curved a smile too.
