The soft light of the moon had been replaced by the blazing one from the sun by the time your eyes opened again. You had not expected to sleep so much after having spent the better part of the previous day doing exactly the same.

The room was silent, aside from your slow breathing mixed in with light snoring coming from right behind you. You were quick to realize that he was still there, arms loosely wrapped around you, much to your surprise and dismay.

It was not uncomfortable in any way, but you still wanted to have as little interaction as possible with him.

You could not wrap your head around the reason why he suddenly seemed to have taken a fancy to you. You could clearly remember his diabolical laughter and the evil emanating from his eyes when you first met him, when he forced himself on you and left you there like the trash he made you feel like you were. The feeling of his fingers digging viciously into your flesh when he jerked you out of the bathtub. Those images were forever burned in your mind.

Then there was yesterday. You could explain the morning at the beach with the drugs, he probably just wanted to toy with you and you had stupidly played along with his game.

However, last night was puzzling. The words he said against your skin, the look of sincerity in his eyes, the intimacy of the whole encounter. You snorted when your brain dared even asked the question; 'Could he really be falling for me?'

The question was not worth asking your own self though, as you knew you could never fall for him. Even if he did have a split personality disorder of sorts, you could never forgive hum for the nightmare you were forced to live in. He did make your body feel good, but you could never let him inside your heart.

If he was falling for you, then you would use him until you found a way out. If you were just a pawn in his game, then you would find the way to become a Queen to topple the King.

His arms strongly hugging your body against his brought you out of your thoughts, reminding you of the lack of clothes to barricade your skin. "Good morning," loosely came out of his mouth against the nape of your neck.

You wanted to pretend to still be asleep and wait for him to leave your room, but the way your body tensed up at the sound of his raspy voice had already betrayed you. You simply let out a small sound of acknowledgment.

You were expecting him to get up and carry on with his day at any moment now, yet he remained there, hugging you even more tightly, his body molding yours almost perfectly.

Soon, his warm breath was felt across your neck through his parted lips, peppering it with light kisses. Yet another unusual action from this man that you could not explain.

"It's strange," he started as if reading your thoughts. "This is the first time I've ever slept next to someone," he continued, uncurling his arm circling above you, bringing it to your shoulder before slowly brushing your upper arm with the tip of his fingers.

The kisses had stopped and instead his eyes were following his fingers along your skin. "Why are you so different..." he trailed off, not really asking you for an answer.

Curiosity got the best of you and you decided to turn around to face him. Once you were facing his way, he resumed his action on your other upper arm, his eyes still lazily following the path of his fingers against your skin.

"How am I.. different?" you inquired, earning his gaze to lock in with yours. His deep brown eyes showed signs of lingering sleepiness but were as captivating as ever.

"Home," was the only word to escape his lips in response, prompting you to quirk an eyebrow as you contorted your face in a puzzled expression. "Come again?" you asked as he chuckled at the cuteness of your scrunched up face. "You feel like home," he continued, the puzzled look only increasing as you thought he had gone crazy.
