Do You Love Him?

(Im super late with this chapter so im not going to read through it and fix mistakes! So if you see a mistake please ignore it♡)

     As Keith woke up it had been about a week of the same tension filled silence. Finally lance was just about well enough to walk around on his own. Though through this short amount of time Keith struggled with the smell of the desperate omega. It pulled him towards lances room every day, closer and closer. But this day was different. Getting his normal black shirt on Keith was just about to step out of his room when he saw Lance. A shudder ran down his spine as he saw that Shiro was talking to him. The alpha looked collected, brushing his hair back to only gently smile after. But he wasnt stupid, Keith could spot how it made the omega in heat blush slightly. Or shift on his feet as they talked. Slamming his door shut it interrupted their conversation.  Shiro only smirked more once he noticed that Keith had watched.

"Morning.." Lance softly broke the tension, but it only made him feel sick when he heard how slick Lances voice sounded. Innocently Shiro shrugged starting to walk away.

"We should all go eat, im sure hunk misses a full table." Glaring at the alpha Keith followed. Leaving lance alone in th hall for a moment, before he slowly followed too. Once they settled down Adam was actually the first one to speak, his eyes were curious as they scanned Lance.

"So .. how are you feeling?"..."g-good .. though its hard with alphas around but .. nothing i havent handled." Smiling Adam carefully pushed his glasses back up his nose. Hunk who was silent till now handing out the food sat down.

".. Lance.. from what ive learned .. its supposed to help your heat when you are paired with someone. You know.. omega and alpha." .. "..what" Keith stared at Hunk, his eyes slanted with disdain as he looked from him to Shiro's face. To his surpise there was no smirk seen. In fact Hunk's words seemed to stun everyone.

"Actually .. your right Hunk... Lonce wouldnt suffer as much if he could be comforted by his true love." Allura carefully budded in, her gaze shifting over the table. "Anyways its not good for us to focus just on this alright? Lets change the subject and just .. enjoy our food." In silent agreement Pidge started a new topic, talk about the next move, the next mission. Keith couldn't focus either way, he felt sick. Images of his hands expanding over the cuban's body made his whole body prick to life. What finally did catch his attention was Lances gaze, it was straight on him.  Looking away to seem annoyed Keith got up, putting his empt plate of food on the plate cart. Right now he couldn't stand the tension and he couldn't stand the reality that it might be better if Lance paired with an alpha. The only one that seemed fit for that was Shiro.

     Getting up from sharpening his knife it had been about 3 hours from breakfast. Keith went to his door as honestly he was thirsty and hadn't really been eating properly since he started caring for Lance. Looking down the hall he heard a faint voice. Following towards the noise he squeezed up against the wall. Gazing around the corner Keith felt his heart fall out of his chest. There infront of him Lances body was completely wrapped up in Shiro's arms. There lips were connected in desperate strides as they kissed. Barely being able to watch for any longer he managed to just see Lance fall back into his room as the doors openes behind him. Shiro following as they never even parted lips. A tear fell down Keith's cheek, he felt hollow and in a attempt to run away from what he saw he went back to his room. And as his doors closed he fell into a wave of anger, he started to swear and angrily punch the walls as more tears fell. Like meaningless words never said, finally falling to a blank piece of paper below.

     A soft tap sounded on the door, then it repeated when no one responded. Keiths eyes never closed, he never passed put or fell asleep. He just laid on his bed motionless wondering how Adam fells, how he would feel if he knew Shiro fucked Lance. If he did know already and was okay with it. Getting up finally he opened the door with his slightly bruised hands, only to look numbly at Lance .. as he stood in the doorway. The cuban looked tense, especially when he saw how ghostly Keith looked.

"Hey- a-are you okay?" Glaring now Keith crossed his arms, gaurding his already broken heart.

"Thats stupid to ask.. h-how could you let him" looking confused Lance cocked his head. As Lance reached out to comfort Keith he moved his shoulder away. His eyes met Lances as they simmered and threatened to leak once more.

"K-Keith-" " do you love him..." it started out quiet, but when Lance didn't answer Keith started to shake.

"How could you let him do that! Do you love him!?" Finally realizing what was happening the cuban stuttered his words.

"K-eith i .. you know i," attempting to reach out and touch Keith again, even stepping towards him more he was met with force. He was pushed back, maybe alittle to hard as his back hit the wall across the hall. Staring coldly Keith looked broken as he looked to his hands. He didnt mean to push him. Turning away from lance he grasped his door.

"P-please.. Keith listen to me!" It was too late. Keith was stubborn and as the cuban got up to his feet and crossed the hall to try again the door was slammed shut. The noise echoed through the silent castle and seemed to even silence the whole galaxy. Left shut out in the hall Lance hugged himself shamefully, slowly walking back to his room with his eyes on the floor. Everything was falling apart, and as Keith sat down again he thought over the fact that. Lance couldn't give a clear answer to if he loved Shiro or not. At first he had hoped it was just desperate actions that brough the two to makeout in the hall. But maybe it was something more, maybe Shiro was his true love and not him. Cupping his head with his hands Keith slid down the door and crumbled into himself. Unmoving as he waited for the day to just end.
