Camila lifts Carson up and shifts him on her hip. "Ready to go see mommy?"

Carson nodded slowly.

"Let's go get sissy." Camila tells him softly.

Carson nodded again.

Moving to the nursery, Camila moves to wake her daughter up.

The tiny girl's eyes fluttered open and she looked around groggily.

"Hey princess, let's go visit mommy." Camila says softly.

Taylor yawned and looked from Camila to Carson and back again. She nodded slowly.

Leaning down, Camila lifts Taylor into her other arm. "Okay, let's go."

Carson and Taylor just looked at each other. They'd both become very quiet babies.

"Let's go." Camila says softly, carrying them out of the room. "Lucy, we are away to the hospital." She called out softly as she put on her shoes.

"Okay, let me know how it goes?" Lucy asks softly.

"I will." Camila called back before leaving the house.

Two hours later

Carson curls into Camila as he watches Taylor with Lauren.

Taylor seemed a lot happier and more comfortable in Lauren's arms.

Shifting Carson buries his face in Camila's neck, Lauren hadn't said anything to him at all since they arrived.

Lauren turned her head to look at Camila and Carson. "Is this your way of trying to get me better?"

"Yes, but they've also both really missed you." the older girl says softly

Lauren sighed heavily. She felt really bad for not being there for the twins.

Carson shifts in Camila's arms and releases a soft whine.

"Bring Carson over, please?" Lauren asked quietly.

Nodding, Camila moves over to Lauren with Carson.

"Carson, buddy." Lauren reached out to run her fingers through her son's hair.

The little boy looks at her through his bangs, his head resting on Camila's shoulder.

"I love you." Lauren whispered, her eyes were sad but full of love. "I'm sorry for disappearing and not coming back."

"Love you." Carson mumbles before burying his face in Camila's neck.

"Come here, buddy." Lauren held her arms out for her son.

Slowly, Carson let's Camila lay him on the bed beside Lauren.

Lauren gently placed her hand on Carson's back. She felt ashamed of herself for abandoning them and it showed on her face.

Camila moves closer and kisses her forehead. "It's not your fault."

"I abandoned them." Lauren mumbled. "It is my fault."

"You got sick, that can't be helped sometimes." Camila responds softly.

"I got sick over a month ago. I haven't gotten better." Lauren responded.

Camila sighs softly and nods her head.

Carson begins shifting uncomfortably before reaching for Camila, he was tired and didn't like the bed.

Lauren sighed. "He doesn't want to be around me anymore. I'm a stranger to him."
