Protecting The Ones You Love(Part 2)

Tony's P.O.V
Peter was acting strange when he came home so I wanted to see what was going on. I never expected him to be Spider-Man. I looked at Peter's retreating form from the window. I turned to Stephen to see him shocked as well.

"I did not expect that." Was all I could say since I am still in shock? I mean I just found out my son is freaking Spider-Man. Any parent would be shocked to find out that kind of news.

"It was bound to happen Tony. Think about it. His parents and family are all Avengers. People that save people. We knew it was going to happen to him eventually. Even if we don't like it, we have to accept that is something he wants to do." Of course, Stephen would say that.

"That doesn't explain why he rushed out of here and said I'm sorry so fast. It's weird. It was like he was saying goodbye." I saw him scratch his chin thinking.

"Maybe he was saying sorry for not telling us Tony." Yea, he's probably right. Both Stephen and I walk down the hallway into the living room to see all the Avengers gathered around the T.V.

"What's going on guys?" Nobody turned their heads but I could tell they heard me.

"You know that Vulture guy?" Yea of course I did. He was the person that Spider-man took down. Or should I say Peter took down.

"Yea, what about him Katniss?" Stephen slapped me on my arm lightly.

"The guy escaped from prison today. Everyone is on the lookout for him. Apparently, he is very dangerous. They say he almost killed Spider-man." I froze when that was said. Both me and Stephen look and each other. Stephen whistled for Levi and I started activating the Iron Man suit. That got everyone's attention.

"What are you guys doing?" Steve asked while Stephen and I were getting our stuff but I just ignored him.

"Friday, tract down Peter's vitals." I heard a 'Right away Sir' when the Iron man suit came into the room. (Not sure how the Iron man suit works.)

"Tony, what's going on? Why are you getting your suit?" I stopped and looked at the rest of the avengers. I was debating if I should tell them or not. Us Avengers are very protective over family.

"Were going after Peter." I got a confused look from both Steve and Clint. Oh yea, they don't know that Peter is Spider-Man.

"Why are you going after Peter?" I don't really have the time to explain this right now. I have to tell them because if I don't they won't let me leave.

"Because Peter is spider-man." You could hear the sound of shock from each one of them. Even Natasha. Peter was like a son to her.

"What?" It was surprising that it was Natasha that asked that question.

"You heard me. Now that I know that that Vulture person is out, that's why Peter rushed out of here like he did. He's going after that guy." All the avengers rushed to get their gear. I need to find Peter before something bad happens.

Peter's P.O.V
I know it was bad to reveal my identity like that but I didn't really have a choice. I should have said goodbye though. I don't know if I'm gonna make it out of this alive. I know I should have told them but I'm not willing to risk it because I don't know if the bomb is real or not. I could see the building in my sights so I decided to go a little faster to make it on time.

I lowered myself to the ground outside of the warehouse when I made it to the entrance. I looked around to see of anyone was out there before I entered. I did a good amount of walking before I got to a room at the end of the long hallway. My Spidey sense was going crazy but I ignored it. Before I knew it, I was hit over the head with something and I saw black.

I woke up on the hard ground. I look up to see Toomes smirking face. God I hate this guy. Why couldn't he just stay in jail?

"I see your awake sleeping beauty." I cringed at the comment. This guy just ruined Disney movies for me. Before I could even get a word out, he kicked me in the gut...hard. I could defiantly feel a couple of my ribs crack. I know that if this gets worse, Karen is going to inform my parent's. I try to get up but feel excruciating pain in my leg and arm. He must have broken them when I was passed out.

"You will never get away with this Toomes." You could hear the pain in my voice. I was in a lot of pain but it is worth it because I'm protecting the ones I love.

"But you see I already have. Now you finally won't be able to escape." He laughed. What was he talking about?

"What are you talking about Toomes?" I hope that if Karen does tell my dad's, that they are able to find me soon.

"I gotta go. This building is going to collapse in like a minute. Have fun Spider-man." I froze so I couldn't web him before he left. The building is going to collapse. Like the last one? Oh god. I can feel my heart accelerating as I struggled to breathe. I heard a crack from a concrete wall beside me and looked over. I knew this was it. At least I was able to save my family. I could hear the faint noise of my dad's suit in the distance, him yelling no before the building fell, and I blacked out.

Tony's P.O.V
I was flying with Stephen beside me. I knew he could just teleport to the area but he said something that I couldn't hear. We were heading to the area where Peter was because Karen contacted me and told me where Peter was. We were about to be their when we saw the Vulture leave a building. Stephen made a portal and the vulture went through it right back into his prison cell. Or his new one where it was made so he couldn't get out. I heard a loud crack that got the attention of all the avengers. We looked just in time to see the building that the vulture just left collapse. Peter was in there!

"NO!"
