sero's quiet footsteps echoed through the hallway of the dead-silent yuuei high. while his shoes lightly tip-tapped against the concrete floor of the first storey, he could almost hear the hesitation in his footsteps. he would've been lying to himself if he weren't the least bit worried about what this trip was going to bring. everything had gone downhill so fast, too fast. his no-worries attitude had slowly disheveled into a half assed smile to leave questions from being asked. 

sero knew he'd arrived too early to school, but it was the only way to prepare himself for the twister that became his recent high school life. he lazily dragged his suitcase behind him, not caring much for the fact that it wasn't being rolled by the wheels. as sero made his trek to the stairs he ran through multiple scenarios in his head about how this trip would go. it was a small skill he learned from one of his secondary school teachers, "evalute and act" he had called it. sero thought of every possible thing that could go bad and well on his trip to the states. the conclusion he came to was:

no matter what happened, it still wouldn't be as bad as seeing bakugou and kaminari together.

it was as simple as that. there was nothing that made sero's heart ache more than seeing them together. as much as he knew he needed to come to terms with the fact that he was never going to get a chance, he couldn't come to terms with it. 

sero let out an exaughsted sigh and turned the corner to the staircase. if only the elevator wasn't "staff only", he thought to himself as he ascended the steps. lazily dragging his feet up the stairs, sero couldn't help but think about kirishima. looking back at it now, sero was part of the reason kirishima was so distressed. "if i would've just told kirishima about everything, about bakugou, about the stupid plan..." his quiet whisper trailed off. it could have all been avoided. 

in actuality, sero didn't blame this whole mess on himself, he blamed it on bakugou. every single one of his problems led back to bakugou who seemed to be having the time of his life tricking kirishima.

bakugou used everyone.

bakugou played with people's feelings.

bakugou didn't give a shit about anyone.

bakugou blamed everyone but himself.

it was all bakugou.

sero stomped the rest of the flight of stairs. he hated blaming other people for shit, but now it seemed pretty valid. everything, EVERYTHING could have been avoided if bakugou would've just talked to kirishima. but of course he couldn't! everyone had to drop what they were doing to help oh-so-poor-baby bakugou. the whole world revolved around bakugou, and everyone just let it stay that way. 

sero was fed up. 

everything, everyone, he cared about was ruined just so bakugou wouldn't have to deal with rejection. 

the world, as sero knew it, no longer revolved around the explosive blond. bakugou destroyed what little friendships he had. bakugou ruined himself, but sero still couldn't help but feel that getting kaminari back wasn't going to be so easy.

well hey, it's been two months and those of you who are reading my crap, we need to talk.

imma be real and say that i haven't updated this book in two months because i'm not that much of a bnha fan anymore and this book has no plot whatsoever. i feel like im just dragging on this book for the sake of updating it, but it's just not fun anymore. sadly, i think this is the last update just until i figure out what the fuck im doing.

also, im sorry for such a late update but yea,, you get it. anywhoo,, for those of you who actually (somehow) enjoyed this book, thank you so much. your support made me pump out this chapter :). i hope i can update this soon and not disappoint you, but i think this book will undergo editing.

tbh, im not proud of this work because it's so messy and unnecessarily dramatic. if i were to come back with more chapters and works, please expect better from me! i will work to improve this ff and future ff's!
