Joe came into the room to wake me up with a kiss on the forehead. "Hey I made reservations for us to go out to eat tonight, my mom is keeping Hannah." He told me. "Mm really?" I asked him sitting up quietly. "Yes, go start getting ready." He told me sitting down to watch Hannah. I went to shower, and had Abby come in to help me get ready. "So Joe has this romantic dinner reserved for us." I told her as she did my hair. "Aw thats so sweet, you deserve it." She replied. My hair and makeup was ready, now it was time to pick out an outfit. After a few minutes,I found the perfect dress: a long vneck red dress. I slipped it on with silver earings, and matching heels. "How do I look?' I asked Abby. "Gorgeous." She replied. I headed downstairs to where everyone was waiting for me. Joe looked so handsome in his tux and bowtie, when he saw me he smiled very big. "You look so beautiful." He told me grabbing my hand. "Have a goodnight." Denise told is bringing Hannah to us for us to say goodbye. "Bye Hannah, mommy and daddy will miss you." I whispered to her. We headed out the door and to the fancy restaurant for dinner. The restaurant we pulled up to was called Le Paris, it was decorated beautifully like we were in Paris. "Reservations for Jonas." Joe told the hostess. "Yes right this way." She told us leading us to a decorated table with candles and flowers. "This is beautiful." I told him sitting down in the chair he has pulled out for me. "Just like you." He replied. A waiter came to get our drink and food order, and once he left Joe had a surprise for me. When you look me in the eyes by The Jonas Brothers started playing, when Joe stood up and got me standing in the middle of the restaurant. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Violet I have loved you ever since I watched your audition tape. You are the most beautiful girl in the world, I love spending every day with you and now with Hannah. I want to spend the rest of my life with you because you make me so happy. So Violet Elizabeth King will you marry me?" He asked me getting on one knee pulling a black box out of his pocket revealing a very beautiful diamond ring. I didn't know what to say, I was honestly speechless. I looked around to see everyone looking at us and smiling, so I took a deep breath and said: "YES!" The whole restaurant applauded as Joe placed the ring on my finger, and I leaned in to kiss him crying messing up my makeup. "I can't believe this just happened." I told him. "I wanted it to be special." He replied. We ate our dinner and our dessert, provided for from the restaurant before coming home to share the good news with everyone. Joe called Denise to let them know we are coming home and also invited Kevin, Dani and the girls to come over. When we got to the house, everyone was waiting anxiously for our good news. "We have a big announcement." Joe told them looking at me and nodding. "We are engaged!" We announced holding up my hand to reveal the ring. Everyone shouted and got up to hug us and look at the ring. "Oh my gosh I'm getting another daughter in law." Denise said smiling. "We are so happy for you man." Kevin told Joe giving him a hug. "Its so exciting to be gaining another sister." Dani told me. "I know, I cried so hard when he surprised me." I replied. "The ring is so gorgeous, Joe did a good job picking it out." Abby said. "It's exactly how I imagined a ring I wanted." I replied back. We talked for a little bit before heading upstairs to see Hannah fast asleep in her crib. We changed and got into bed, cuddling up next to each other.
