Chapter 14: Wedding Planning

Planning a wedding was harder than I expected, we had a alot to do. We decided to get married in June in Denise and Kevin Sr's backyard with Kevin Sr officiating us. Denise, Abby and Dani helped me with the food, music, flowers, the guests and the dresses. My bride's maids will be Dani and her sisters Dina and Kathleen while Abby is my maid of honor. Alena and Valentina will be pulling Hannah down the aisle in a wagon. Joe's best man will be Nick, and his groomsmen will be Kevin, Frankie, Dina's husband Brian and Dani's brother Mike. Jerry will be carried down the aisle by Joe's bandmates Cole and Jack. We planned to spend a day in New York going to dress shops for all of us. Kathleen and Dina met us there while the rest of us carpooled. The first shop we went to was located in New York City, it was a very famous dress shop where alot of the celebs went to. The dress shop looked so beautiful with all of the dresses everywhere, I was so excited! A worker with the name Melody greeted us at the door. "Welcome to The Dress Shop, who is the bride to be?" She asked. "That would be me." I replied. She showed us around the store while she got information from me about the big day. We all went our separate ways but Dani stayed by me to help me find a dress. "What kind of dress are you looking for?" She asked me. "I really like a princess type dress like on the movie A Cinderella Story." I replied. "I love that movie!" She gasped. "Me too, its my dream dress." I replied back going through the dresses. I went through the dresses until I found the dress of my dreams. "There it is!" I gasped getting Dani's attention. She helped me pull it out and we went to find the others getting excited. "I found it!" I told them when I saw them. Melody took me to a dressing room and helped me into the dress while everyone waited outside. As soon as the dress was zipped, I took a deep breath and opened the changing room door. When I came out, everyone instantly gasped making me turn around to the mirror.  I did indeed look like a princess, Melody found me some shoes, heels, a veil and even a tiara to wear. "You look like a princess." Denise gasped at me. "This is it, my dream dress." I replied making everyone clap their hands. "Joe will be so shocked to see you." Abby told me. After changing back, the girls tried on their dresses. I went with a purple colored dress that is long and flowy with spaghetti straps. The little girls all had matching cute flower girl dresses and little flats. Hannah slept through out the whole thing, but looked adorable in her outfit. When we were finished, we paid and went to get lunch before doing some more shopping. Denise, Dani and Abby sat down with me to help me with what the wedding and reception should look like. The guys will wear tuxes with purple bowties to match the girls dresses while the little girls will have white dresses with purple sashes around the middle. The decorations in the reception will be purple and white, Denise has a friend who can make the cake and another friend who can help with the flowers. Frankie and Dani's brother Mike will be djaying, while Denise, Dani and Abby will be hosting. I was so excited but nervous to be marrying into the Jonas family, my dreams were really coming true. We looked around before heading home from our exciting but long shopping trip. Dani is keeping the dress at her house so Joe won't try to snoop or anything happens to it. It was still hard to believe that I would be Mrs. Joseph Adam Jonas, I can't wait to marry him!
