The next morning rolled around, and I hadn't even realized Faraad had left out in the middle of the night. My heart was jumping outside of my chest as my phone began vibrating back to back.I began reading all the text messages from the girls as I laughed watching them argue back and fourth about who was who and what was what. I decided to make a seperate group message with just us in it and break down everything that was going on. I explained to the girls who I was, and apologized for not knowing that this was the type of idiot we all had fell for, but it was time for him to get played. We decided a location to meet up at.
I knew he wouldn't answer my phone calls, so I had one of the other girls contact him as if they were going on a date and then we were all going to show up. My heart was racing because I didn't know what to expect or what was about to go down, but he deserved it. I threw on something comfortable and headed to our location.
From the distance, I could see Ja'Netta standing with him by the bench in the park as she casually kept the conversation going when we walked up. Right behind me was Melanie and Shakirah, we were ready!
The look on Faraad's face was priceless as he became flustered with red..
"What's up Faraad?" I said smartly.
"Faraad? That's Hassan."
"Hassan? That's LaVon."
"Who the fuck are you?" We all snapped!
This sick twisted joke went in for too long and I was done with the games. I felt a weird chill over power me as I watched someone walk up in the distance. At first I couldn't tell who it was, but once I realized - I was confused.
"Mekhai?" I asked as I tilted my head sideways.
"What's up Sora?" He smirked.
"What are you doing here?" It still wasn't registering for me.
"You met my girls right? Ja'Netta, Mel, & Shakirah?"
My eyes widened.
"Your girls" My heart was pounding.
"I told them to set this up specifically for you. See, I was so tired of you playing me and putting me on the back burner... So, I found a guy who I knew was what you really liked." He began walking closer to me.
"I- I don't understand..." I started stuttering.
"This was a part of the plan. I had my home girls deal with him too, because I knew you'd investigate and find out. I wanted you to feel how I felt with being played and played with."
I was beyond embarressed as everyone stared at me.
"Faraad, how could you!?"
"My name ain't Faraad. It ain't Hassan, or LaVon... You'll never know it."
And here I was, going back down that dark tunnel of love with someone I thought I knew ...
END.
