The weekend had passed by and today was a new school week. Taehyung never contacted Chaengin after that day. She was relieved about that, but also a slight upset? She did tell him to leave her alone, but a part of her wanted him to stay. What he did wasn't that bad actually, he just didn't know better.

What he had done, did cross her mind a lot. She had beyond thought about everything this weekend, and she came to a decision where she's going to talk to him. He only tried to help her, and it's nothing bad about that. Chaengin, herself, knew that overreacting was an understatement.

Twenty minutes before lunchbreak, she couldn't help herself but give the brunette boy a few glances - long glances. Taehyung sat across from her, looking beautiful like always. His own pencil was touching the paper in front of him, but he was frozen like a deer caught in headlights. No ink was left on his paper. His hair, that was covered over a blue bandana, was falling down his forehead. He was beautiful, at least for Chaengin. Running her fingers through the soft brown hair, playing with it, was something that really came to Chaengin's mind. Nobody could complain, who wouldn't want to do that?

Lunch break finally came and Taehyung had still not talked to Chaengin or even glanced at her. She was on her way to her locker when someone bumped into the small girl. She didn't see who it was, but it was definitely a boy. She could tell by their body figure. Pluss, only boys can possess such a force while bumping into someone. Before she could even spell the word 'ouch', the shy girl felt an ache on her bottom.

"Shit, I'm so sorry, Chaengin," A too familiar voice said. She looked up at him. Chaengin was mesmerized by the brown eyes that stared so intently into her own.

"It- it's okay," Chaengin stuttered. He reached his hand out to help his blonde haired friend up. She looked up at him with doe eyes. Eventually, she took his hand and he helped her up.

"I- Um, sorry again, I think I need to go-" The brunette haired boy said as he turned around and was about to walk away when a tiny voice spoke up.

"Taehyung, wait!" It only belonged to the blonde haired girl. He turned around right after and looked at his friend with his deep eyes. His eyes were deeper than the deepest ocean, but the only difference is that Chaengin was willing to drown in his.

"I am sorry..." He looked at her with a worried look.

"You don't have to be sorry, I bumped into you and-" She cut him off. -"No, I'm sorry for just letting you go. You just wanted to help, and I overreacted." The blondie looked down at her own shoes. Anxious was an understatement as she heard a few footsteps coming close, but she didn't know if it was Taehyung's or just the crowd around them started to drift away after the little accident they cased in the hall.

"Chaengin," he put two fingers under the blondie's shin and lift it up, so she had no other choice than look in his angelic eyes.

"There's no need to be sorry. You were upset, and it was all my fault. You had full right to be upset," Taehyung said with a calm voice. -"I shouldn't have pushed you to befriend them, especially now when you're in such a soft spot. I should be more patient." Taehyung said.

"But, I overreacted. You didn't deserve to be rejected because I was upset about such a small thing. You only want the best for me, and I should've seen that instead of reacting the way I did." Changin explained. She did feel bad for reaching the way she did.

"I would've reacted the same way, Chaengin. It's okay," He smiled fondly at her. "Friends?" he asked with a smile on his face.

Taehyung didn't expect the answer he got.

"No." That made the brunette hai boy frown. His smile flew away like the wind in a desert. He looked at her like the whole world depended on it. The people around them didn't even need to try be quiet for anyone to almost hear his heart sink and break in thousands of pieces.

"Best friends." Chaengin then added, a wide grin plastered on her face. His eyes enlarged making his eyebrows raise in surprise. He gave the blonde hair girl an unanticipated hug - a tight one. "Thank you so much, Chaengin," He said and hugged her even tighter if possible. -"Thank you so much."
